Unlike in evey other jojo part where the story itself bends toward the characters becaus of what they have done. gappy is completely alone in that regard....he isnt a character who gained friends on the way...or is even teaming up with allies because they share a common will or goal. the only reason he even has allies is because the past two people that fused into him are related to those family's. gappy doesnt follow a will...he doesnt even care about most other people he see's. infact the only natural person he got to bond with was by absolute chance...Even johnny the character who was supposed to be nothing like the other jojo's at least shares the fate set out by the corpse.

Gappy straight up doesnt....his journey in the way that its structured and handle'd is completely and utterly different from every other jojo in the series.

And actually the reason for this makes sense. Gappy Isnt a jojo...He's quite literally just a regular new person born from the fusion of two other people one of which who had joestar blood...he shares the name,birthmark and the hat because its the only origin he has...aside from that he's a regular guy who carries on the name and the birthmark purely because he inherited it...he isnt a joestar in his personality...he isnt a joestar in his manners....even in his stand cry he inherited it from Johnny who he himself inherited it from His best friend who wasnt in anyway a joestar

I love that from araki....gappy is a completely new concept of a Jojo...someone who doesnt carry the ideals,will or even character traits of the joestar family.
