I like how this debate is so well known to the point where we can casually joke about it
And yet he could not stop a bullet. And yet he could not strike Diavolo with little more than a scratch in their second encounter. You claim that a stand is capable of feats that are only shown once - to top that, these feats are not even confirmed.
Thing to throw meat into the fire: star platinum is confirmed to be faster than light, if silver chariot had a dispute with him (even though he was controlled by Anubis) shouldn't it lead him to faster than light?
The feat of hitting the hanged man seems like a nice confirmation.
WAIT KARSMARSBARS IS ACTUALLY DEBATING WITH US?!
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
IT TRUELY IS DEBATING TIME
1.bullet came from a stand that Can be argued as MFTL.
2.polnereff says that avoiding diavolos speed is a matter of luck and this is consistent as giorno knowing where diavolo was coming from still got blitzed.
And kingcrimson is a stand that is considered one of the fastest or strongest in the verse by jojo a go go.
"攻撃力とスピード、ともに一級品のパワーを発揮。だが射程距絵が2~3メートルと短いのが弱点。本体が正体を隠していることもあり、確実に相手を仕留める射程に入ってから攻撃を仕掛ける"
Which translates into
"Both attack power and speed demonstrate the power of the first-class stand However, the weak point is that the range range picture is as short as 2 to 3 meters. The body may hide its identity, and it will attack after entering the range to secure the opponent."
The emperor is not MFTL. Hasty assumption.
Even if it was luck, Polnareff should have been able to inflict more damage. If he’s supposedly moving at light speed, then it would have been instantaneous. No one can dodge that. I don’t think any of you realise just how fast light on its own is. Diavolo was cut by a stand moving at the supposed speed of light, yet only receives a scratch. It should have ripped the skin of his arm clean off.

Also, The reason Jotaro struggles so much is because of Polnareff’s skill. Polnareff had no problem dealing with Anubis at first. He wields a sword, after all. However, Jotaro does not have this experience.
Both your arguments are incredibly flawed
Well, as far as I’ve noticed, other anime with speedster characters actually make an attempt to show their speed affecting the area around them.
Jojo, in terms of scaling, makes no sense. It contradicts itself all the time. There is no point in this debate. You can believe whatever you want to believe.
