I don’t have any ideas for a name. I don’t listen to a lot of music - I don’t care what it’ll be called.
Type: Remote Stand
Appearance: The stand takes on the appearance of the Flatwood’s Monster. Its body is green, and it wears a dully coloured gown, fitted with a long skirt. Underneath the skirt is an endless expanse of void. The user does not know where this void leads to or what is within it. Its eyes are crimson red and shine brightly ahead like the headlights of a car. It has sharp claw-like fingers as well and stands about seven and a half feet tall.
Ability(s):
Stalk - This stand is a remote stand, and its main ability revolves around stalking its prey. It can target only one individual at a time and will endlessly pursue them. This can be stopped by moving out of its albeit large range, or if the user chooses to withdraw it. The individual to whom the stand is in pursuit of cannot stop the stand’s pursuit, but they can stall it and it can only be seen by the target in question.
Strange Phenomenon - While the stand is stalking its intended target, the target will undergo a wide array of strange phenomena. (It can only affect one person at a time). To start things off, they may notice a strange, floating “fireball” in the sky and may even see it land somewhere in the distance. This signals the beginning of its pursuit.
Approximately Five Minutes after the UFO phenomena - The target may notice some strong, unpleasant odours: a pungent rotting smell, coupled with a smell resembling burning flesh. The smell will eventually take a toll on the target and they will soon feel very sick and undergo strong episodes of vertigo, dizziness, and nausea. This weakens the target, allowing the stand to increase its chances of success.
Approximately Five Minutes After the Strange Odours - The stand itself will begin to make its own appearances. The effected individual may be able to catch glimpses of the stand out of their peripheral vision, but - upon direct examination - the stand will disappear immediately. Strange, low whirring noises and lights will begin to occur. In the process of this, the target will start to experience strong senses of dread and impending doom, no matter how fearless they are.
Approximately Five Minutes After the Sightings - The stand draws nearer and nearer. Glimpses of the stand now become full on sightings. The stand will not disappear upon being observed by the target and will instead, stay put in place, simply staring ahead with its crimson eyes. Its gaze will follow the target no matter where they move. If the target would turn their backs on the stand, it would continue its slow drift toward the user, floating about two metres above the ground. The stand will disappear and reappear near the target if they move too far from it. Confining yourself to a locked room will only favour the stand. With the stand even closer, the odour is increased tenfold, inflicting the target with an even stronger wave of vertigo and nausea. The target will feel an even more intense sense of dread and panic now.
Now, the target can actually interact with the stand. They can attack the stand, stalling its pursuit, but it will only continue fourth after being stunned temporarily. Its pursuit can only truly be stopped if the user withdraws the stand or if the user moves out of its range, which is about the size of an average town. The user would have to unwillingly pack up and leave their town to escape this. The pursuit will also be stopped once day hits. The stand disappears for as long as the sun is out, but returns once night falls once again.
Once the stand stands within about six metres of its target, its headlight-like eyes will shine brightly into its targets’. Upon doing so, they will be put into a hypnotic state. Once under the hypnosis, they can no longer fight. The target will be abducted into the depths of the endless void in its gown, never to be seen again. What happens here is left up to interpretation.
