So, I had a dream last night that was actually like legit a full on JJBA Part 4 episode...
I'll try to recall it to the best of my knowledge...
So the whole thing was basically in a 3rd person point of view, meaning I was just sort of like an invisible ghost floating after the characters... like watching a 3D movie.
The story seems to take place in Morioh, sometime shortly after Part 4's events (as the characters are still wearing their school uniforms). For the first little bit, I'm following around Okuyasu and seeing his actions. Okuyasu's living in an apartment building on top of a hill (idk why, but this dream version of Morioh was very very hilly and there where stairs e v e r y w h e r e up and down all these tall steep hills), apparently having moved out of his old house.
He's in the kitchens cooking some sort of weird stir fry on the stove. Okuyasu makes a call on his cellphone to Josuke, asking if he has time to come visit him. He then spends the next little while continuing to stir fry some random a$$ vegetables. A while later, he decides to go outside (and all this time he's also monologuing out loud about his adventures with Josuke and how they are such good friends, + he's also blushing really hard the whole time which was really sus), and check to see if Josuke's shown up yet.
Things switch to Josuke's point of view; he's heading up the street to the tall hill that Okuyasu's apartment building is on. With him, is some undistinguishable character..... can't tell if it's Koichi, Hazamada, Kobayashi, or some weird combination of all three.... they never speak throughout the entire dream, and their face is never seen. Josuke keeps making remarks to this small character, about why Okuyasu might possibly want them at his house for this time. He expresses some concern over Okuyasu's health, saying he hasn't been acting himself lately.
The two reach the bottom of the stairs leading up the hill/apartment complex (it was like the apartment building was merged into the hill like some weird modern version of a hobbit house), and Josuke spots a figure peeping around the corner a couple flights up the hill. The figure sees they've been spotted, and ducks back around the corner, disappearing from sight. Realizing this is probably Okuyasu, Josuke gets angry for some reason, muttering something like "Oh he wants to play games, does he?" - Josuke then rushes up the stairs in a hurry to try and catch up to Okuyasu. Colour themes go wonky as per typical JJBA anime action sequences.
Things switch back to Okuyasu's view; he takes a different branching off path of stairs through the hill/apartment building, that he knows is a shortcut back up to his room at the top. He expresses outloud that he's glad Josuke is here, but he didn't want to be seen 'anxious for Josuke's arrival' and hence the reason he is now in a desperate hurry to get back to his apartment without looking like he was outside looking for Josuke.
Back to Josuke's view; he runs up the main set of stairs, aka 'not the shortcut'. He accidentally trips over this random old man playing with eggplants, who actually looks a lot like Kira's father for some reason. Josuke stops, says a quick "Gomenasai" (*I'm surprised my subconsciousness remembers my Duolingo learnings, lmfao) and both he and the weird Koichi-shadow bow to Kira's dad.
Soon, they reach the top of the hill. The door to Okuyasu's apartment is unlocked, and Josuke knocks once before just barging in. They wander in, and see that there are two bowls of really delicious smelling stir fry on top of Okuyasu's Xbox. Josuke picks up a bowl and mutters to himself "Did HE make this? This smells pretty good", before trying a few bites. The Shadow-Koichi picks up the bowl and just kinda.... Kirby-style sucks the food into its featureless void of a face.
There's the sounds of sizzling oil and clinking dishes from the kitchen, and then Okuyasu comes around the corner. He expresses his gratitude for Josuke and "half pint" for showing up, and tells them they can have second helpings on the food if they'd like. Josuke passes off Okuyasu's blushing as just the guy hiding the fact he just ran up a dozen flights of stairs to get back to the apartment first.
Josuke asks Okuyasu where he got the recipe for the food from, and he responds that he was trying to replicate one of Tonio's dishes. With a loud "OH NOOOO!" of realization, Okuyasu then begins to panic on whether or not it's okay to try and copy Tonio's cooking style without his permission. Josuke tries to calm him down, saying that he can just go as the chef about it later. The two then debate on what would be the best name for this stir fry Okuyasu made. They decided on, and I sh*t you not, "Sorbet No.5". Do I have any idea wtf that means? No I do not. As a cook, calling a stir fry a sorbet greatly distresses me, and I hate my subconsciousness for coming up with this weird af bs.
The dream continues on with a scene of Josuke hugging Okuyasu, while Shadow-Koichi is playing on the Xbox.
The scene/my perspective pans out to a view of the street below, facing up to the apartment/hill. The sky keeps switching from yellow to pink and back, and credits begin to roll. Some of it is gibberish words in English, and the rest looks like One Piece poneglyph writings.
As the "credits" roll over my view, on the street we see Rohan sitting arms crossed legs crossed on the back of a wooden cart being pulled by another Shadow-Koichi, to the front of the hill. Rohan expresses distaste at the fatigue of the Shadow-Koichi, saying things like he 'must get to Okuyasu's apartment asap', and 'how dare they have a hangout without me'.
Then, I wake up. End of story.
A bizarre dream, yeh?
