Is it because he doesn’t close the door on his way out?
Is it because he doesn’t close the door on his way out?
I believe in the canon, Pucci was basically just shown what the true power of the Universe was and incorporated it into his beliefs.
Because he was a holy man, he’d not be susceptible to more sinful urges (tho the truth of that is an argument in and of itself for another time), which qualified him as DIO’s trustworthy friend. Because of Mr. Brando’s charismatic charm, convincing argument, and ability to understand people around him (both as having grown up in the slums AND by proxy having a law degree), he was able to bring Pucci to something “beyond Christianity “ in that respect.
For Rhino - if the ultimate end goal of the relationship is sex, then yes.
One last thing.........Ain't dis about Pucci?
I feel like this is getting a little heated with the clashing of opinions on this. Everyone can have their own opinion, and everyone can disagree with someone else's opinion. But.....this is getting a little outta hand. I believe we should either return to the original topic, or drop this. We have spoke our part, I believe. I ain't one to lock somethin' at the drop of the hat. But I believe we should just calm down and understand the varying opinions on this. This is kinda like a turn left turn right thing. Let's all just take a chill pill. Both side of this debate are explicitly protected via the listed intolerance rules on the terms of use.
So, with respect for both sides, are y'all good if we shake on it and return to the topic at hand?
Yes, they are Rhino. And I'm still not saying people can't do it. But I am saying exactly why I MYSELF feel like it's wrong and why I will personally abstain from it. All sex is a sin unless you are married. Does this mean people won't still do it? People do it a lot. Even Christians still have sex out of wedlock, and even myself have had feelings of bisexuality. True thing. But I will personally stay out of it because I don't feel it's right.
I’m good with that, Fenn
I'm fine with it. I made one joke and this all just cascaded into a runaway nuclear reaction.
Awrighty, one vote from Power.
Just wanna keep this goin' down right, since this is gettin' to be a dangerous road on the Wiki. We don't need any more drama.
Okie, and one from Kai. I imagine Rhino-san would also agree.
I will go ahead and put a li'l lock on this. If a Moderator or Admin wishes to remove it later so the intended discussion may continue, by all means, go ahead.
For starters, that was a rhetorical question.
Second, I shall ask again; WHO among the admins was it who stated that religion and politics shall not be discussed in heated debates? (again, a rhetorical question; I know who)
Anyways, I don't want to continue that, so moving on please. Back to my original point, a man/woman in love for real does not care about whether it's a sin or not. As to whether Pucci was with DIO in *that way* or not, I cannot say for sure. I personally like to think they had a bromance of sorts, but it's all up to interpretation.
(edit: I was still typing when the post was locked, so ig my comment still made it through somehow - oop)
Yeah, I said it. And I won't deny it either. But regardless. And as for the "Real love doesn't care if it's a sin or not" is, like what I said, an opinion you hold. When you're a catholic priest anyway, you take a vow to not get married and to stay chaste, so either way, it seems unlikely that he and DIO would get together, and that is my opinion on this. Disagree, I don't care. As I said, I won't judge, but I also won't condone. and now you know what I believe. Vilify my with it, I don't really care. I believe this. It's a moral squabble. Think what you will about that, but just to let you know, it's possible to love people and NOT have sex with them. It's the whole point of Christianity. Agape love. The one that doesn't rely on what you get back from people or from if you get "Lucky" with someone.
