Ripple also gives you a free stand. Hermit Purple in the pre-reboot universe was derived from connection to Ripple energy. It was the stand of Jonathan, the Stand of Joseph, and the stand of Holly (Who may have had Ripple training since both of her parents used or knew it). Ripple is more useful in our lives anyway. Healing and all that jazz is more useful than a fidget spinner.
