The Sun stand, hovers only 100m above the ground. It's a very very very small version of the real sun... and in the ancient internet war of a trillion lions vs the real sun, the sun was really given a run for its money. So this wee little imitation stand that isn't even 1% of the real sun's size, will definitely lose against the lions.
Just to give an example:
The lions flood the entirety of that section of desert (idk how many square kilometers they'll cover so let's overlook that for now bc we know it's at least "a lot");
Step 2 is they use a testudo formation sacrificing some of their brethren to shield from the Sun stand's deadly rays;
Within moments, this desert-spanning flood of feline flesh will overtake the stand user and he will be lost in the furry tides.
