I thought the story was about a group of people who learn that they all come from the same bloodline that can create ghosts and had the same nickname "Jojo". The main antagonist was Dio and the series would start with 6 Jojos and at the end, only 1 survived, and it would also be revealed that one of them was related to the main bad guy.
It started with Jonathan, Joseph, Jotaro, Josuke, Giorno, and Jolyne trying to find Dio, Jonathan is the first to die, the crew learn that Giorno is the son of Dio and that either Giorno or Joseph is the only survivor with everyone else and Dio being dead. I researched the series a bit, and I mean like 3 google searches, and though Jonathan, Joseph, Jotaro and Josuke were the same character, I only saw the character faces in a page showing the jojos.
Then I researched it more, learn what it was actually about and saw a clip of Jonathan fighting Jack The Ripper and mistaken Speedwagon for Dio. From that scene, I thought Phantom Blood was about Jonathan and Dio traveling around England killing vampires, only for at the end Dio himself becomes a vampire and betrays Jonathan and then Jotaro and friends has to kill him.
