Yes? Because I find interest in how the characters, plots, and more develop in the story which I put time into thinking about. I don’t really care that much about how a character acts, personality, as I do with their actions and how they develop themselves and the world around them.

whether or not you think writing is enjoyable or not is entirely subjective

you might enjoy characters with little to no personality who go through strong development and show progression within the plot, changing entirely as a character by the end of the story

I might enjoy characters who show a likable and enjoyable personality, allowing me to vibe with the story as a whole, feel happy when they enter the screen without being a walking corps regardless of the development they go through.

Sailor Josuke is just bipolar, a guy that is either a strangely childish that can transfer to straight up murder from a glance, that’s very fun to watch.
