Ball Breaker

So today, I wanna talk to you guys about ball breaker. Its a stand that has been created by the infinite rotation of the spin, and the user we can see is Gyro Zeppeli.

But then, it may not be Gyro’s stand at all. We can see possibilities that ball breaker, isnt actually a stand and is a skill?

All right first lets looks at this pic right here.

It is the first page of Tusk Part 3, chapter 27 of Steel Ball Run. I think everyone focused on Johnny and Tusk here but this has a interesting information.

In Gyro’s description, its says,

Gyro himself states that it is technique, but the reason he has more power then that may be because of THE DEVILS PALM HE PASSED.

And we all know that Johnny obtained his stand when he passed the devil’s palm.

What does this prove? It proves that he already had a stand- a stand to enforce his spin.

But if he really did, where is it’s visual form? Well we have only seen about 5 visual (by visual i mean stands that looks like people) in Steel Ball Run. Them being Tusk, D4C, The World, Scary Monsters and Ball Breaker. We won’t be counting The World since its from a different universe and Ball Breaker because we are discussing about it, and also Sccary Monsters because it was obtained from the dinosaur lady diego got attacked buy.

Do you notice something? Yes, the visual stands have appeared when the user has obtained a saints corpses. Johnny’s Tusk appeared after the Left Arm slipped into his arm, and Valentine obtained D4C when he obtained the Heart.

So what about Gyro? He obtained the Right Eye. Well Tusk was the Left Ram’s guardian, and D4C was the Heart’s.

So this might be Gyro’s stand.

Yes this is the same guardian we saw in vs Scary Monsters.

And also there is this thing.

The Zeppeli family had searched its HUNDREDS OF YEARS AGO.

Stands are different for everyone and no one can have the same one.

I think i made my point clear here. Ball Breaker is a technique or skill-not a stand.

Okay so this has been on my mind for a long while, probably ever since I saw Ball Breaker.

As we know, one of the ways stands manifest is by way of mastery of a skill.

Tonio obtained Pearl Jam naturally because of his rigorous culinary training. Jonathan's Stand and Hermit Purple likely birthed out of the similarity of them being Hamon users (backed up by Araki expressing that the Crusaders would see young Joseph wrapped in Hermit Purple). Ball Breaker and Tusk Act 4 are results of mastering use of Spin to its highest degree.

So why not have a little fun with this idea?

Why not try making stands that express a facet of having mastered a particular skill, like sports, music, or something similar.
