Assuming Kakyoin did kill Dio, how would it affect the rest of the franchise from 4-6?
Assuming Kakyoin did kill Dio, how would it affect the rest of the franchise from 4-6?
So assuming the roles are switched and Jotaro is the one who gets the truck while Joseph and Kakyoin are with Polnareff, what changes? How would Jotaro do fighting Dio fighting on the road instead of Joseph and Kakyoin and assuming it escalates to the roof's like with Kakyoin how would Jotaro vs Dio go and what would the other 3 be doing?
Like for example what if Jotaro with Joseph and Kakyoin with Polnareff against Dio or Kakyoin with Jotaro and Joseph with Polnareff against Dio? Whoever Dio fights first of the duos how would the fight play out?
Artstyle heavily inspired by TerminalMontage btw :D
Now this has been a question fans have asked for quite some time now, and other fans have come up with several answers for why DIO didn't use it. But I've always felt like the defenses had some irony to them, so I'm going to make a response for each of these. ; )
#1: "Jonathan's body is rejecting DIO and is preventing him from using his vampiric powers"
Now this is usually the most common answer I hear.
While it is true that DIO needs more time to adapt into the new body to get stronger, it isn't completely preventing him from using his vampiric powers as he can still regenerate, suck blood, use flesh buds, say "WRYYYYY", and others like them, so why would the Space Ripper Stingy Eyes be an exception? Also, DIO doesn't even need Jonathan's body to use SRSE since he was literally able to use it as a decapitated head.
#2: "Space Ripper Stingy Eyes would have no affect on Star Platinum"
That doesn't matter becouse DIO uses Knives and ROAD ROLLER DA to crush Jotaro and the gang! DIO could just use Space Ripper Stingy Eyes alongside his other abilities.
I just find it too funny that it doesn't affect the ORA ORA Purple Guy LOL! XD
#3: "DIO's trying to GAIN BLOOD to get stronger so he's not just going to release fluids from his eyes, that would go against his goal"
Now at first thought, this seemed like a good defense to me, and it's clear DIO wants blood from Joseph as its closest to matching Jonathan's blood and it would help DIO settle in with the body more. However, I am not really seeing anything going against DIO losing fluids. If that's a problem for DIO, then why is he shown doing this?
"beCAusE He'S JuSt ReLeaSiNg ExCEsS BlOoD"
Maybe so, but he can also use his SRSE just fine if that's as good as these defenses are getting...
#4: "Some viewers may start at Part 3 of Jojo and would get overwhelmed if DIO used all those different powers"
That's probably true, but it still doesn't really change it from being weird, or better yet, BIZZARE!
#5: "DIO's too proud of himself and his new abilities to want to use abilities like Space Ripper Stingy Eyes"
I mean, maybe???
So, in conclusion, I'm still not sure why DIO never used Space Ripper Stingy Eyes. But if there's any other answers you all have! Please tell me in the comments below! Or you could just tell me "Purple Guy Go ORA ORA LOL!"
Here you go! In this video DIO says "Ho!". Perfect for this time of year!

Obviously, he was doing blows that would've been fatal to any other normal person later in the fight. But at the beginning when they were doing their Ora/Muda clash, is is possible Jotaro may have been holding back just to convince Dio that The World was superior to make him overconfident?
Like I said, it wasn't until much later when Jotaro began doing blows that pulverized Dio's bones. One of his punches even destroyed part of AWAKENED Dio's hand.
