Notorious B.I.G
Item #: SCP-1868
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-1868 will be kept in a sealed chamber made out of [REDACTED] inside of a larger room made out of the same material. Two airlocks will be situated the first airlock (not leading into the chamber, but to the larger room), with Level 3 Access required to open the outside door, and Level 3 Access to open the inner door. Both doors in the airlock leading directly into the chamber SCP-1868 is located in require Level 5 Access. During a lockdown, these doors may only be opened by 3 things. A member of the O2 Council, a Site Commander, and a Emergency Level Access Keycard. None of the scanners that require the keycard are situated by the door, but are placed in the observation area. Inside the walls of the chamber, 100 gears constantly rotate, never ceasing due to being powered by SCP-[REDACTED]. These gears will go faster than any moving object or organism within 100 meters due to the nature of the power source, SCP-[REDACTED]. If any of the gears are to break down, or the chamber is damaged, the gears will increase their speed, and several maintenance personnel armed with high-caliber rifles, a variety of semi-automatic weapons, anti-SCP weapons, and if 70% of the gears are damaged, they will be accompanied by an MTF squad, with one of them wielding a [REDACTED].
Description: SCP-1868, also known as Notorious B.I.G, is a physical Stand found in an ocean near Italy. It came to the foundation’s attention when numerous reports of boats disappearing, and rumors of a monster in the sea. Apparently, the boss of Passione, [REDACTED], knew about this, and assisted with information gathering and capture. It appears to be organic, made out of flesh. Its size varies depending on the object it is attacking. It’s most deadly feature however is its ability to detect the fastest moving object within a certain range, match its speed, and attempt to kill it. This is not limited to organisms, but also any object. This weakness led to the foundation learning how to capture and contain it.
Below is a termination log of SCP-682.
Result: SCP-1868, SCP-682. SCP-1868 was put into SCP-682’s containment cell. When 682 moved to attack, SCP-1868 grew to roughly the size of 682. 682 attacked, but due to 1868’s regenerative properties, it was unharmed. 1868 attacked back, apparently to better effect, but 682 also regenerated. This continued for some time until 682 realized that he couldnt kill it, and forcefully stopped the test by breaching containment and killing 17 personnel.
Log between Dr. Wright and SCP-682 afterwards
<Log Start>
Dr Wright: Listen I know your a sadistic monster and all, but you could have avoided us having to shoot and subdue you by simply telling the staff that this would not have ended.
682: You would have shot and subdued me anyways.
Dr. Wright: True.
