Angry flesh-decaying genius versus crybaby sunlight genius. How do they interact?
If it wasn't for his lack of screen time, this would be one of the longest-running series on my channel

It's already been established in the Android Saga that Goku isn't immune to diseases. So would Purple Haze beat Goku? I think it actually could. This is because of a few major points:
The character difference between Son Goku and Panacotta Fugo
Goku can't see stands or viruses (I don't think PH's virus is actually really visible)
It only takes one hit, one TAP to release the virus
On the first point, Goku is, for all intents and purposes, a good guy who likes to fight, but hates to kill. He didn't even want to kill FRIEZA. No, he was too manly for it. He was Teddy Roosevelt (epitome of manly) enough to allow Frieza to stew in his own embarrassment instead of kill him out of satisfaction. Fugo, meanwhile, wouldn't mind one bit. But lets rewind <<<<<<<
Fugo approaches Goku. Goku, being Goku, kindly greets Fugo and can probably deduce that he intends to fight, just from his body language or whatever Fugo might say in that circumstance. So the next question is, who attacks first? In my opinion, even if Goku did attack first, it wouldn't kill Fugo because Goku wouldn't allow it to. He can gauge Fugo's potential using Ki Sense to know how much he can take a hit. It would be out of character for Goku to just vaporize him and miss the opportunity for a new opponent. But I don't think he'll be the one to attack first in the first place. I think that he would allow Fugo to make an attack to assess his new opponent's fighting style and expect to either block it or dodge it. But there's a problem: Goku can't see stands. He would expect Fugo to make the attack himself. It would catch him completely off-guard, and probably land. Either result, even if Goku is the one to initially approach, the virus is released in the fight. Goku's only chance is if he somehow knew about the virus and that Stand effects die with their user and decided to use instant transmission to get out of there or kill Fugo. I don't think there is any way for this to occur unless Goku gets infected and happens to have a Senzu bean on him, allowing him to recuperate and assess what is going on without dying. Though I vaguely remember that Senzu beans can't do diddly squat against disease.
TL;DR Goku very likely dies to Purple Haze unless Goku acts out-of-character.
Epilogue:
Vegeta would instantly win in Goku's place as a flex of power.

So mark your calendars for November 1st, and witness Chapter 1 of my JJBA spinoff, with the first chapter's name being the Emerald Crusader. It's a 5 part storyline based on fleshing out and extending on the character of Noriaki Kakyoin, by having his character evolve, and learn new things along his growth. This will also contain a lot of Jojo what if's, such as What If Kakyoin didn't die, What If Holly could control her stand, What If The SDC had a healer on the team, What If Jotaro played a bigger role in Golden Wind, What If Polnareff did not become a turtle, What If Fugo helped team Bruno, What If Team Morioh helped out in Stone Ocean, What If the Universe did not reset, and so many other what if's. If you are interested, tell me in the comments, and I will create @'s so whenever there is a new update to the comic, or a update regarding post, or Q&A's for any questions you have. This is big since this was hyped up for an entire year now (or close to a year I assume.) So prepare for it, and also there will be another part that takes place in 2030, after the events of Stone Ocean.
Honestly Jojo is a really good series with great characters. But a lot of these were wasted potential. So today here are 5 characters (with some honorable mentions) that felt like chop liverd compared to the rest of the story.
5. Hol Horse.
Now let's be honest. A lot of the villains from SDC mostly sucked. But however Hol Horse is one of the exceptions. He had charisma, was funny, was cool, and a lot of stuff. It would have been a great business decision to put someone like this on the team. But Araki didn't because his personality was considered to similar to Polnareff and stand being a more useless version of Kakyoin's Hierophant Green. But IMO it wouldn't matter. Sure Pol and Hol are similar but so was Kakyoin and Jotaro and yet Jotaro or Kakyoin were never scrapped. What would have fixed him IMO? Just keep Avdol dead and have him join instead or have him join with Avdol coming back and then die saving Avdol for redemption.
4. Muhammad Avdol.
And speaking of Avdol. He comes number 4 due to a lot of things. I won't go fully in depth until my upcoming rant so I'll spare some details. But my main problems are with his lack of screen time, personality, and growth. I feel like MR could have been seen at least in some other fights like I mean God forbid if Araki gave someone who isn't Joseph, Jotaro, or Polnareff (and occasionally Iggy) time to shine. So how to fix him? Well either kill him to Hol Horse so he had proper send off. Or kill him to Ice and don't include his death from the Hol Horse thing or have Polnareff die saving Avdol as redemption for being reckless the past few times.
3. Josuke Higashkita.
Now IMO Araki always does good with his JoJo's. Characters like Giorno or Jolyne who got a lot of screen time are in 1 part only. A character like Joseph who's like Giorno and Jolyne got brought back and Araki didn't give him much screen time because he already had his time to shine back in BT. And then there's someone like Jotaro who didn't get much screen time in SDC but gets brought back and plays a bigger role in the later parts (especially in part 4.) But Josuke is one that's odd. Like Jotaro both of there spot light was stolen by there friend with crazy gray hair and we bearly see Josuke any in DIU (first half Koichi feels more like the main character and second half Rohan feels more like it) so logically speaking Josuke should come back and get one last shining moment like Jotaro right? Unfortunately not the case and once 4 is done so is Josuke's 15 minutes of fame. As for how to fix him? Either have him play a bigger role in fights (like give Josuke a solo fight and not with Okuyasu beside him or Jotaro having to play babysitter) like how Jolyne and Giorno were. Or just do like Jotaro and have him more involved and play a fighting role in parts 5 or 6.
2. Smokey Brown.
From Joseph's part 3 bro, to son, to part 2 bro. Jeez what on Joseph rubs off on these characters to have wasted potential? Well anyway let's explore Smokey. Smokey's character is just he's a black kid from the 1930's. That's it. And no I don't wanna come off as racist for saying it that's all Araki did with him. He was just a stero type and left to be forgotten after BT. As for how to fix him? Explore parts of his character to give him development. He starts off as a weak kid who's kind of a coward. So how do you make that into an ark? Let him help Joseph and his quest fighting the Piller Men and instead of Ceaser have Smokey be the one to die and obtain the ring. TBH Ceaser diying harmed his character more so explore Smokey instead. He starts off as a coward getting the shit kicked out of him by some police foder and then fights and almost kills an aztec striper god and dies with courage. And I think Joseph would have a better reason to cry if Smokey was the one to pass instead of Ceaser (I mean Ceaser hated his guts and beat him up. So why cry when the asshole died?)
Before number 1. Here are a few honorable mentions. I'll explain in the comments why if anyone's interested.
Now let us talk about number 1. And if you know me you already know who it will be.
1. Noriaki Kakyoin.
If you know I make it no secret that Kakyoin deserved better then what he actually got. He was a really likable character, had a cool stand, and a good design. But his main problems are a few things. 1 he doesn't have much screen time. And 2 he's really really boring! I'll rephrase that to not sound rude. It's just he's made to be uninteresting. So how would I fix him? Well that's by giving him some fights. Like give at least one of Polnareff or Jotaro's fights to Kakyoin to shine or something for him to do. But another way to do so is by switching him out with another character to die. Like for example Polnareff could die saving Jotaro or take Kakyoin's place and die saving the team so his arc in concluded. And Kakyoin's arc can be extended by looking at his past he's never had friends until SDC so imagine how he feels knowing his friends are dead? It would be a great arc and Kakyoin could go through a character arc of his own and like stated with Jotaro during the Josuke part of it he can also grow more after SDC and could play a pivotal role in the JoJo story. So personally it would be a better way to give Kakyoin at least some bit of character.
And that wraps up the rant. Hope you enjoy your day.

Fugo is extremely underrated in my opinion. A lot of people hate him because he abandoned the rest of the gang but i feel like he got a little too much hate. Yes I would have prefered Fugo to stay with them and if he had maybe there would have been less casualties but Fugo was just trying to be reasonable and as much as i belive he could have helped he shouldnt get as much hate from the fandom as he does.
