The main problem with this is that this is a confusion between the concepts of JJBA calamity and general misfortune. Misfortune could be considered the dual opposite of luck, and thus it could be argued that a sufficient degree of luck could overpower misfortune. However, calamity, at least as portrayed in JJBA, is a different matter. Calamity is not merely random unlucky events, rather, it is a force of consistent logic bent on setting the very logic of reality against the victim. As such, Calamity's dual opposite would not be luck, but miracles. No amount of raw chance and favor could withstand the very logic of their probabilities being stacked against them, as Calamity is sourced within reason, a form of reason that encompasses mere chance and surpasses it, as the instruments of chance are essentially the randomness of various logical processes within the universe. To counter calamity, one must need something that defies the very logic of the universe, an event that occurs outside of the controls that the universe holds over. It is for this reason that Go Beyond is the solution to calamity, as it is specifically outside the logic and universe that WoU controls. That is why I don't think that a luck-based character would ever be able to hold against WoU, at least if using luck alone...
If Araki himself presented his part 3 ideas as fan-stands he would get bullied off of the wiki for mediocrity...
It seems that I have obtained even more evidence to back up the theory that anything specifically labelled as "jojoke" lacks the sufficient degree of humor found within conventional jokes...
JK, JK, but still...
This is so arbitrary and asinine that it's awe-inspiring as to how someone could even conceive this as an actual idea...
It depends on what you mean. If you're simply referring to Jotaro with SPOH, then nothing changes, as Jotaro can obtain SPOH without actually doing the Heaven Plan. However, if you're referring to a hypothetical Heaven Ascended Jotaro, then there would be some significant changes. As the main form of change can be seen by the person merging with the Green Baby, we can expect Jotaro to change based on that. He would firstly gain much longer hair, as this is a common trait between all who absorb the Green Baby. He would also gain eyelashes matching that of the Green Baby, and his hair pattern would slightly change. However, much of HA Dio's appearance change was due to him changing his attire, which is unaffected by the Green Baby. So, what we can expect for HA Jotaro would simply be a regular Jotaro but with longer hair, and strange eyelashes...
Edit: Deleted out of respect for this post...
JK, JK, lel, peak post, this one is actually extremely refined compared to the last one, and the grammar is also exceptionally polished, nice job and this was definitely a necessary revamp of the original post, as it really delves deep into the Pucci dodging moments and clears all doubt...
It's funny how the quote says that Whitesnake "encounters battles that cannot be won by strength alone", but the majority of the time that it's in a pinch, it's due to Whitesnake lacking enough strength to physically win, the quote is the literal opposite of how Whitesnake is portrayed in the series, he uses the ingenuinity of his disks to compensate for his lack of ability to contend with the high tiers in terms of raw power...
I seriously want whatever Araki was smoking when he made those data books...
That's fair, TBH, but then again SO isn't exactly a hotspot for relevant feats, so you kind of have to take everything that you can get, I'm not fully discounting the idea, but I still generally lean towards SO being Hypersonic rather than MFTL like the rest...
TBH, the light feat seems kind of sketchy, especially from a guy who's not only slower than light, but debatably unconscious, the only reason why the same feat works for Kars is because he already has a good deal of upscaling that puts him in FTL territory...
Happy Birthday to you, and don't worry about this post being annoying, given that this is Fandom that we're talking about, Birthday posts are actually some of the few highlights here...
This is Off/Topic...
NGL I kind of miss writing pointless paragraphs... Also this might be one of the last of my pointless paragraphs considering that I'm permanently leaving Fandom in 2 weeks...
I mean, it's just Discord, I wouldn't consider this to be a major loss, then again I wouldn't know because I've never seen the JJBA discord, and at this point, likely never will...
If by stick together, you're referring to sticking together rather than having a pincer attack, then I'm pretty sure there would just be more casualties, as they would prioritize keeping each other alive over actually finding Dio's ability, which would lead to more characters getting swept away within a single TS. We would expect the group to stick together and run until Polnareff gets fed up and tries to attack, followed up by Kakyoin setting up his web and pressuring Dio further. At this point, Dio would be incapable of playing around with Polnareff while also staying out of harm of HG's attack, so he'll just simultaneously kill them both, leading to the same series of events, with the minor change of Polnareff dying as well.
However, if by stick together, this includes staying together from the very beginning, then they all stick together in fighting D'Arby, which they of course beat with no casualties. They then adventure together, Avdol reveals his life sensor, Kenny G gets one-shotted, Vanilla Ice appears, and then Jotaro uses his superior eyesight and Star Platinum to get them out of the way. At this point, Kakyoin sets up a web and it's wraps for Vanilla Ice, with no casualties. At this point, they all go up the stairs to fight Dio, leading Dio to retreat. They then cause Nukesaku to open the coffin, leading Dio to reveal that he has a sinister ability, they all escape, and they then try to wait out the night. As they're sticking together, they have enough intelligent members to get the idea of actually thinking out a plan rather than charging in. This most likely leads to them baiting out Dio, while Kakyoin sets up the 20 meter Emerald Splash while hidden. This causes Dio to reveal his ability without actually being able to immediately kill anyone, and Kakyoin can relay the information of Time Stop. At this point, Dio will go more on the offensive, as now that his ability is revealed, he has less assurance of his victory and needs to cut down the amount of living SDC members. The Fool could probably stall Dio from killing someone at least a few times, but this will only lead to Dio killing Iggy. After witnessing a death for the first time, Jotaro will become aware of his ability to see Dio stop time, and since The Fool is gone, Jotaro will most likely witness Dio kill another member, which could be either Kakyoin, Avdol, or Polnareff, although it would be more likely that it would be Kakyoin, as Dio would have a grudge against Kakyoin for revealing his ability. Dio then faces off against Jotaro, and with the meager help of Avdol and Polnareff, Dio would get defeated. Of course, as this is Dio, he would have the backup plan of killing Joseph and gaining his power up. At this point, Polnareff and Avdol have likely been incapacitated but not killed, as they are merely nuisances(especially Polnareff, as he did not get the rage boost from Vanilla Ice). Jotaro kills Dio, and with the help of Avdol and Polnareff, Joseph gets saved, leading to 4 alive Crusaders rather than 3...
Gwenpool is not Tier 0 and does not solo fiction, the only reason why IRL is so powerful is that it actually exists, Gwenpool's original universe was conceptualized from an IRL author, it's a hypothetical universe identical to our own, but that still makes that universe fictional from our perspective as this universe does not provably exist in real life. As such, this universe is subject to the standard scaling within Marvel, which does happen to scale above everything within Marvel, but only really puts Gwenpool at around 1-A, at least provably so(and depending on how you scale Marvel)...
She does absolutely trash Ungalo though, it's not even close, and it never was to begin with...
We already have a Vibin stand ability, it's "Made in Vibin"...
After 4 entire days of debating, it is only now that this truth has been reached...
No... no... no... see, it's stuff like this that makes me doubt Araki's ability to scale his own characters...
