History[]
Background[]
Barbara and her husband moved from Atlantic CityW on the mainland to HonoluluW, on the HawaiianW island of OahuW when Jodio and Dragona were 11 and 14. Around this time Barbara and her husband began to become strained. On the day after Jodio committed an arson atatck to protect Dragona from bullies, she talked with her husband about the event thankful that Dragon didnt go to school that day, but also disapproved of Jodio's grades slipping. Months later Barabara explained to Jodio and Dragona that their father was forced into paying ten times the normal insurance for the bus company and was subsequently fired from it for agreeing, forcing him to leave Honolulu, with the two separated and her going on to raise their two children on her own. Over time her situation worsened as Barbara was forced to work two jobs, one of which was a duty-free job at the airport and the other was late in the night. Barbara's health began to waver over the stress and bills began to pile up, as well as gangs forming around their neighborhood. According to Meryl Mei Qi, Barbara couldn't pay the schools tuition.[1]
At some point Barbara attended Jodio's school's psychological counseling, where she had to pay for a psychological test with the results revealing he had 18 out of the 20 traits of a psychopath. This caused her to go into an outrage and demand her money back.[2]
The JOJOLands[]
In the present day, Barbara calls Jodio on his phone and asks about his and Dragonas whereabouts, as she was unable to get in contact with Dragona's phone. She asks what the boy and Dragon would like for dinner later but not before inquiring on if Jodio is hanging around Paco Laburantes as she finds him untrustworthy and a bad influence.[3]
