Silver Chariot (1) (銀の戦車(シルバーチャリオッツ) その① Shirubā Chariotsu Sono 1), originally The Dangerous Lunch Time (恐怖のランチタイム Kyōfu no Ranchi Taimu) in the WSJ release, is the one hundred twenty-fourth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. It is also the eleventh chapter of Stardust Crusaders.

Summary

Soon after defeating Gray Fly, Kakyoin notes that, unlike him, the old man didn't have a spore controlling him. Avdol tells him that Gray Fly is known to cause accidents and steal his victim's valuables, so he was probably just hired by DIO. The group finds out that the pilots have had their tongues ripped out by Tower of Gray, and the plane is going down with damaged engines. To their surprise, Gray Fly reveals that he is still alive. He tells them that he successfully did what his Stand represents: interrupted their journey. With his last breath, he reveals that DIO controls many Stand users and that the group is sure to be killed, even if they manage to land the plane.

Jotaro compliments the flight attendants for not screaming and panicking the passengers while Joseph takes control of the plane, since he has piloted propeller planes before. Kakyoin warns him that they are in a jet, not a simple propeller plane, and Joseph remarks that this is the third plane he will have crashed.

The plane lands on the ocean and the passengers are soon rescued. Discussing their status on land, Joseph remembers that someone once wrote a book about a travel around the world in 80 days, so they still have time to reach Egypt. He decides to go by sea in order to keep innocent people safe. The group is then approached by a French tourist named Jean Pierre Polnareff, who asks for help ordering food. Jotaro tells him to get lost, but Joseph helps the tourist and invites him to join them.

At the end of dinner, Polnareff holds a star-shaped carrot slice and holds it on the back his neck, wondering out loud where he might have seen that mark before. Surprising everyone, Polnareff attacks Joseph by stabbing his prosthetic hand, but is interrupted by Avdol. Polnareff throws Magician's Red's flames at a table and forms a fire clock with them, proclaiming he will kill them all before 12 o'clock hits.
