"Green Day" and "Oasis", Part 12 (『グリーン・ディ』と『オアシス』 その⑫ "Gurīn Dei" to "Oashisu" Sono 12), originally One Step Short at the Colosseum! (コロッセオ、一歩手前! Korosseo, Ippo Temae!) in the WSJ release, is the one hundred twenty-sixth chapter of Vento Aureo and the five hundred sixty-fifth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga.

Summary[]

Not finding Bucciarati who is steadily unzipping his way to the Coliseum, Secco is exasperated and dives into the ground, liquefying it to hear better and pinpoint Bucciarati's position. He hears a noise and attacks its source, but Secco sees that the noises were canalisations Bucciarati had broken to serve as decoy. Not hearing anything, Secco then deduces that Bucciarati has stopped moving and munches a great bite of the ground.

Bucciarati is waiting for Secco to leave, but finds himself impaled by a spike made of hardened ground. The spikes are generated when Secco spits the ground into the air and it falls in the general area of Bucciarati's position, creating a rain of spikes which threatens to skewer Bucciarati.

Meanwhile, the third party, revealed to be Jean Pierre Polnareff, hopes that he can give the Arrow to a new generation of reliable and righteous people.
