Diavolo Surfaces (ディアボロ浮上 Diaboro Fujō) is the twenty-fourth story arc in Vento Aureo.
It narrates the struggle between Team Bucciarati and Diavolo to seize the Arrow first as Chariot Requiem's weakness is uncovered.
Summary[]
The group realizes that Diavolo is possessing one of them, but before they can confirm any suspicion, King Crimson incapacitates Giorno and takes control of Mista's body which was where he was hosted. Diavolo then quickly runs toward Chariot Requiem. He confirms Chariot Requiem's weakness and incapacitates it.
The gang hopelessly delays Diavolo from taking the Arrow, their efforts rendered null by King Crimson. Trish's soul intervenes, as she manages to send the Arrow head toward the gang. Furious, King Crimson punches through Spice Girl, and leaps toward the Arrow head, seemingly piercing his own Stand in the process.
However, Bucciarati has managed to completely destroy Chariot Requiem, causing everybody's souls to be forced back into their original bodies. After a brief farewell with Giorno, Bucciarati's soul ascends to the heavens.
At last, Giorno takes the Arrow head into his hands.
