History[]

Background[]

The information below derives from a source not written by Araki. As such, it may or may not be considered canonW.

Pucci had a bad habit of sleepwalking out of his home when he was seventeen. Concerned, his parents moved to Cape Canaveral so it could be easier to watch him with the help of an air force base. One night in the year 1997, Pucci had apparently slipped out and woke up near his father's church. He hurries home only to find that it was somehow crushed by a giant metal plate from the space probe, Giotto[2]. As he examines the plate, he finds fourteen phrases scratched onto the metal plate and a message explaining the way to reach Heaven.

He served as a priest at a prison before he decided to become an astronaut, looking for a way to achieve Heaven. He accompanies Captain Funnier Valentine, Pocoloco Tripleseven, and Goyathlay Soundman on their trip to Mars to investigate it's mysterious third moon.

Mission to Mars (2012)[]

As he is aboard the H.G. Wells' spaceship, Pucci encounters Joji and Narancia, who appeared out of nowhere. He asks them for their names, since Narancia couldn't speak English, Joji explains for him. The crew were shocked to learn that the two somehow appeared from Morioh and Nero Nero Island. Joji recalls reading about Pucci on the news when he suddenly decided to become an astronaut. When Narancia tries to attack the crew with his Stand, Pucci uses Whitesnake to pull out two DISCs from Narancia's head and one DISC from Joji's head. Pucci reads their memories before putting Joji's DISC back in, he tells Joji that he still doesn't understand what Tsukumojuku had told him.

The crew take note that someone from outside is trying to destroy the H.G. Wells, carrying Mars' third moon. Pocoloco asks Pucci to wake Narancia up so he can move his Stand out of the way. Pucci wakes Narancia up and explains to him that God had forgiven him for his sins. Pucci manipulates the boy by showing him an illusion where he had killed the entire crew. Narancia explains that he can't move his Stand because it can only move inside living things. Pucci slaps Narancia when he suggests blowing the third moon up, and takes his DISC. Pucci notices that there are multiple Giotto probes in the photos that The Funniest Valentine had taken outside. They name the third moon The Eyed Balloon, and The Funniest declares that they must escape from its tentacles in ten minutes or they will have to blow up the H.G. Wells to prevent it and the man holding it from reaching Earth.[3] As Pucci goes with Soundman and Narancia to stop him, Funnier betrays his crew, and shoots Pocoloco and Narancia. He revealed that he was negotiating with Kars for eleven years ever since the metal plate fell on Pucci's house. Funnier shoots Pucci, and Soundman tries to stop him but is shot and killed. Narancia used U-Boat to catch the bullet in his forehead, and fires a cruise missile at Funnier's escape pod, killing him.

Joji Narancia jump into U-Boats submarine before the ship explodes. They notice that Kars also entered the submarine. Kars states that he can go back home but the oxygen in the submarine would only last four hours. Despite Kars not needing oxygen to breathe, he wonders why Kars mentioned three people. Joji then notices Pucci lying on the ground and sees that Pucci had been saved by Soundman's sand.
