The Guard Rail, also known as Radio Gaga, is a minor rock animal that had appeared briefly in JoJolion. It is the final antagonist of the series, being the main antagonist of the Radio Gaga Incident arc.
Appearance[]
The Guard Rail looks simply like a normal guard rail. It has a second, true form, in which it appears with human eyes.
Abilities[]
Radio Gaga is capable of luring in potential victims by mimicking its previous victims' voice, by vibrating its own body surface like a speaker. This ability helps Radio Gaga hunt for food, such as birds and other animals. Any human who is lured near the guard rail seems to act strange, such as muttering "gaga" or taking off their clothes. Once the victim is near it, Radio Gaga then sucks them between the steel plates and crushes and digests them.
History[]
The Radio Gaga Incident (1941)[]
In 1941, someone had heard a voice coming from a Guard Rail. As they investigate, they are only to be stripped of their clothes and disappear into the Rail. All that was left was their clothes and a foot. This later became known as the "Radio Gaga Incident"[1] Within the same year in Morioh, Lucy Steel enlists the help of Joseph Joestar, to help learn more about the Locacca. While investigating, Lucy learns that Joseph is related to Johnny Joestar after looking at his Star Birthmark. The Guard Rail attempts to eliminate the duo, but fails and retreats away.

- Its name is in reference to the song of the same title, Radio Ga GaW by the band Rock band, QueenW.
- Guard Rail is the final antagonist of Part 8. (counting the flashback, it is the first as well. The flashback takes place long before Josefumi and Kira's flashback.)
