Go Beyond, Part 2, originally named "Calamity's End", is the one hundred and eighth chapter of JoJolion and the nine hundred and fifty-fifth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga.
Summary[]
In the heavily damaged Higashikata home, a wounded Mitsuba crawls through the wreckage while calling out for her son, Tsurugi. She instead finds her sisters-in-law, Hato and Daiya, and the mangled body of her husband, Jobin, near the garage.
In that part of the house, a wounded Toru undergoes an Equivalent Exchange with Tsurugi thanks to the actions of Kaato and her stand Space Trucking. Cato crushes a branch of the New Locacaca and has the sap drip into Tsurugi's mouth, expediting the process and forcing the Rock Disease onto Toru. The rock human attempts to attack Cato with Wonder of U while in a rage, but the disease takes effect and he and his Stand begins to disintegrate.
Tooru begs Cato to spare his life and, when that fails implores Yasuho to help him. His pleading falls on deaf ears, though, and he crumbles to pieces while seemingly curing Tsurugi. Mitsuba and Tsurugi embrace each other while a dying Toru sees a vision of a hornet, the creature he consumed as a child to survive in the wilderness.
As sirens wail in the distance, the Higashikata family and Yasuho realize that Cato has been stabbed in her right side with a small saw. As her crushing the New Locacaca branch counted as an "attack," this was the calamity that befell her through Wonder of U. Cato collapses and she tearfully thinks of her family as her conscious fades and her daughter cries out.
Yasuho goes over the tragic nature of the JoJolion story and the members of the Higashikata family through narration, noting that they had all suffered and endured unique tragedies while in pursuit of their goals. However, she finds the scene of the beaten and bloodied Higashikata family to ultimately be a hopeful one, for they had succeeded in breaking Tsurugi's curse and saving his life.
As ambulances and fire trucks arrive, Tsurugi discovers that the wound on Norisuke's neck is only a minor burn, meaning that Jobin held back and that the older man is likely to survive. However, Yasuho catches a glimpse of Wonder of U hiding underneath the ambulance and again in Norisuke's blanket. Suddenly, blisters appear across Norisuke's face and neck as Wonder of U's hand emerges form the injured man's mouth. Yasuho realizes that, without Toru, Wonder of U is beginning to run wild as the embodiment of calamity.
As Norisuke's blisters burst, Josuke appears, somehow missing parts of the petrification from his use of the Locacaca Fruit. He attacks Wonder of U with his Stand, Soft & Wet: Go Beyond, destroying the avatar of calamity. Yasuho and Josuke embrace as they witness the strongest Stand they had faced turn to dust once more.
