The Radio Gaga Incident (1941) originally named, "The Radio Gaga Incident, Part 1" is the one hundred and ninth chapter of JoJolion and the nine hundred and fifty-sixth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga.
Summary[]
Lucy Steel, now in her mid 60s, returns to Morioh in 1941, this time to investigate the locacaca. Her driver picking her up at the train station shows her that he has a bandage on his hand, indicating to her that he won't be carrying her bags. A stranger offers to help, but proceeds to run off with her suitcase and bag. Fumi, a 17 year old young man visiting Morioh with his girlfriend, stops the thief and returns Lucy's luggage. Initially declining to assist Lucy further, Fumi soon realizes the thief stole his wallet, so he can no longer afford to take his girlfriend out to sushi. He agrees to work for her so he can afford the date. Lucy tells Fumi that she is an employee of the Speedwagon Foundation, specifying she doesn't work with the police or government, elaborating that she specializes in botany and germaophology. She mentions to him how she is single. She says she has come investigating a strange fruit called the locacaca, suspecting the Higashikata estate to be like the Devil's Palm. Fumi warns her of a phenomenon called the "Radio Gaga Incident" in which a woman who was near a guard rail on the estate started talking to herself, walked out into the street, took off her clothes, and disappeared out of thin air. Lucy decides to investigate the orchard anyways. While stopping to investigate at a guard rail at the orchard, her driver succumbs to an incident similar to the previously mentioned Radio Gaga Incident. Shortly after, Lucy finds herself attacked by a possible enemy Stand user or rock human hiding inside the guard rail, whose eyes appear in the rivets.
