THIRTEEN The Enemy (敵 Teki) is the thirteenth chapter of the light novel JORGE JOESTAR. It returns to the perspective of George Joestar II after the events of Chapter 11.
Summary[]
George fires at a pilot zombie, with Antonio slithering out of them.
Jorge explains what had happened to Jim to Lisa Lisa, they believe that Antonio is now able to blend in the Air Force's base as Jim without anyone knowing. Lisa Lisa turns to Straizo, stating that they must move quickly due to how fast the zombies are spreading. Suddenly, a Hamon Warrior rushes in the room, alerting them that the English are bombing them. The hallway explodes, Lisa Lisa grabs Jorge and runs, questioning how they had found their base. They run outside, and see Steven with two Motorizing planes. As they jump in, they fly out the cave to see the English dropping bombs on the base. He sees his friends in the aircraft's, dead and now have become zombies. Jorge tries to stop them, and shoots at a plane, taking them all down one at a time. As he shoots one the pilots chasing him, a creature appearing to be Antonio slithers out of his head. Jorge continues to fire at him, completely pulverizing the creature. He checks up on Lisa Lisa, who compliments his skill, making him blush. As another pilot chases him, Antonio slithers out of him and flies towards them like a flying squirrel. He calls Jorge out for having the nerve to grow up before he did, making him laugh.
Lisa Lisa stands up, and tells Jorge that they should get married after the war, in which the flustered Jorge agrees. She calls out to the clone of Antonio, asking him if he remembers her. Antonio calls Jorge pathetic for still being around her, Jorge throws an insult back, calling him hollow because of his 'psycho mom'. Mentioning his mother angers Antonio, as he lunges at Jorge to bite him. Lisa Lisa grabs and chokes him, and he turns into dust. They proceed to shoot down the rest of the zombies, Jorge feels pissed because of Antonio making him shoot down English planes. The Hamon Warriors use their Hamon on all of the zombie pilots' bodies. He wonders why Antonio had attacked them, and then remembers that he had sworn to kill his entire family. Jorge asks Lisa Lisa for a phone, and calls up his mother. Because he is currently in France, he informs her to bring Penelope and leave London, and come to their house in Westwood. She understands and agrees to go back to the Joestar mansion to hide in the basement. Erina assures him that he will defeat Antonio, as his father had won his battle as well. As he hangs up, he calls up John, and explains about the English zombie pilots attempting to eat the humans. Suddenly, Jorge hears an explosion on the other end and learns that the English are attacking John. Jorge warns John and asks him to get as many men possible to fight back, the line is cut off after another explosion hits.
Jorge turns to the Hamon Warriors, explains the situation in London, and informs them to gather any Hamon Warriors in London, and protect any survivors there. Lisa Lisa jumps onto the Motorizing plane, along with Steven boarding his plane. They fly West across the North Sea, Jorge wonders how bad the situation is and how much Antonio has taken over of the Naval Air Force headquarters. Lisa Lisa suddenly asks Jorge for a quick rundown on how to fly a plane. As she flies the plane for a bit, she jumps out of the plane, with her scarf tied to the control stick. She lands behind Steven in his plane, and suggests he uses his Wings; she explains that she used Hamon to bring out the Wings for him so it wouldn't have to harm him. They approach and see London from a distance, they watch as it is engulfed in flames, and see over three hundred fighter planes. Lisa Lisa prepares to fight, and promises Jorge that she won't die. Some zombie pilots spot them and open fire, Jorge and Lisa Lisa manage to shoot down a bunch. They continue to shoot down more planes, when suddenly a fleet of Sopwith CamelsW shoot the belly of his Motorizing. As Jorge shoots them down, Steven flies under his plane and tells him to jump into his plane. As his jumps out of the cockpit, he manages to land into Steven's plane, and thanks him. They watch from a distance as Lisa Lisa shoots down the zombies plane to plane. They continue to dogfight against the other planes and completely decimate them. Jorge sees his old co-pilot Jim Graham as a zombie, and prepares to battle him. He tries to shoot, but his machine gun gets jammed; he decides to use the wing of his plane to decapitate him. Lisa Lisa blows the last zombie away and jumps off into Jorge's arms. They look down as the people of London cheer, the Hamon Warriors jump down to handle the rest of the zombies.
They see John from a distance, and hold their thumbs up as they pass each other. Steven thanks Jorge for saving England, and the they pull each other into a hug. They had sent Hamon Warriors to England to search for Antonio the rest of his zombies. As Steven returns to the Motorize Manor, Jorge continues on with the war; surprised that William Cardinal had survived when the Air Forces base had been attacked by Antonio, walking out with only a broken leg. He had taken credit for Jorge's plan and was promoted to Supreme Commander. As the war ended, Jorge returns to the Joestar Mansion, thinking about what to do, and waited for Lisa Lisa to visit. He decides to visit her in Switzerland, asking why she hasn't married him yet. She laughs, he explains his concern about Tonpetty's prediction of them dying before their marriage. Jorge walks over to see him, and asks about the prophecy. Tonpetty explains that Jorge has an actual god watching him, which reminds him of what Tsukumojuku had told him about: Beyond. Tonpetty explains that Jorge must put his faith and follow this god, or he will be brutally murdered. So he believes in Beyond, and leaves Switzerland with Lisa Lisa and they announce their engagement. As they plan the wedding, Jorge gets Lisa Lisa pregnant, filling excitement between Erina and Penelope. He wonders how Straizo would feel, Lisa Lisa says he might not care. As the child is born, Speedwagon sends them presents constantly, and they learn that the baby is a boy.
Antonio eats Cardinal's insides.
They name him Joseph, and he inherits Lisa Lisa's Hamon breathing. John visits and campaigns to be Jorge's best man. They completely transform the Mansion into a wedding venue, Jorge enters his car and goes to the Motorize manor. He knocks on the door, though no one answers which worries him. He freezes as he spots blood on the carpet, and grabs a weapon. He runs upstairs and sees who appears to be Darlington covered in blood. As she looks up, he learns that it is actually Kenton as a zombie. She attempts to attack him, but he stabs her with his poker, killing her. He sees William behind him in his wheelchair, holding a gun pointing at him. Jorge calls him an idiot for trying to use zombies to his advantage, and knocks the gun out of his hand. He notices that he wasn't bleeding, and learns that he had become a zombie as well. Jorge asks in Spanish why he hates him so much, Antonio slowly eats Cardinal's organs and explains that he only does what his boss tells him to. Jorge slowly backs up and sees Steven and Darlington rising up as zombies in another room. Antonio approaches him with the wheelchair, stating that he will die because his boss had claimed it was his fate. Antonio points at the window only for Jorge to see a flock of over 920,000 flying squirrel clones, stating that his boss is taking over all of England. Jorge swings his poker at him, only for Antonio to grab it and swing a fist at him, and whacks his head with the poker as he hits the wall. Antonio calls him pathetic for trying to die like this, Jorge then wonders about Tsukumojuku coming to save him. He remembers that he has Beyond on his side, and tries to believe in it so it can save him. As Antonio continue's to abuse him, he tries to understand way Tsukumojuku's name had made a connection to the name of God.
Antonio prepares to kill George.
A young Tsukumojuku then appears beside Jorge, relieved that he has finally decided to believe in Beyond and calls him a troublesome protagonist. Jorge asks why they aren't going back to the wedding, Tsukumojuku explains that Jorge has another role to play that Beyond has prepared for him. He sends him into a foreign island, and explains that they are now in Japan, in an upside-down town named Morioh. Jorge asks why he brought him here, Tsukumojuku explains that his role must be played here; he must solve a case where Tsukumojuku is a murder victim. He states that he is proud of him, and vanishes into thin air. Jorge lies on the floor, with his head bleeding from Antonio's beating.
Lisa Lisa had killed Antonio when she went to the Motorize manor, and was convinced that Jorge had died after seeing his uniform ripped up into pieces. A furious Penelope creates a locked room around the 920,000 Antonio clones that had surrounded Great Britain, swearing that he will pay. Instead of making a room around England, Penelope had created a room where the Antonio's had fused into a giant wall and began to attack the planet.
