Summary[]

Jorgemeetsrohan

Jorge meets famous mangaka, Rohan Kishibe

Joji thinks about how to get from Nishi Akatsuki to Morioh. He reminds himself that he was told of Tsukumojuku's death at 6:30. He was also thinking about how Tsukumojuku got to Morioh. He explains that his throat had been cut so deep, that only a single layer of skin had kept his head attached. He says that his body had been naked, wrapped in a red, diamond-shaped cloth. There had been an axe over his shoulder, and his body had been found mounted on a bear. Joji thinks that the killer might not have taken this as a joke but it was a reference to the folk tale, KintarōW. He later on gets off the train station of Morioh and thinks of it the entire trip as a Deja vu. On his way, he stops by to eat at a restaurant. After eating, he heads towards the Arrow Cross House, where Tsukumojuku's body had been found. It was a house that stood on top of a hill; the person who owned the house was Rohan Kishibe, a famous mangaka who was known for his manga series, Pink Dark Boy, which had been running for twenty years. After apologizing to Rohan about not being familiar with his work, Rohan offers to show him his art. He then says that he will show him around the Arrow Cross House to Joji and explains that he had purchased it only 6 months ago. He gets excited about he had gotten such a house with a murder happening in it. After talking about how happy he is living in the house, Joji suddenly compliments the view and calls him "Kishibe-san". Rohan suddenly lectures him about how people only call him by "Rohan". Without knowing him knowing, Rohan uses Heaven's Door on Jorge so he can only address him as only Rohan. Bewildered, Joji becomes cautious around Rohan.

Arrow Cross House sketch

A detailed sketch of the Arrow Cross House

Rohan begins to talk about the mystery of the Arrow Cross House, hence the name; it is shaped like a cross, with each points shaped like an arrow. Each arrow point had at least two doors. The rest of the eight are used to get inside. Rohan explains how the house is very strange because it had appeared five years ago without anyone noticing. It had no permits filed, and was built without any neighbors noticing. He states that his previous home had been burned down, and that he enjoys living here. There was a previous house that had been in the same spot before the Arrow Cross House. The neighbors of his call it the Cube House, it was supposedly moved from Nishi Akatsuki to Morioh, but nobody knew who owned it back then.

Rohan mentions that more than one detective had been murdered in Morioh, which surprises Jorge. He then asks if the boy who had been killed in his house had also been a detective, Jorge replies by saying yes, and explains how he had solved fifteen locked-room murder cases. Rohan then tells Jorge all of the names of the detectives who were victims of the Serial Detective Murders whom all had bizarre names: Hakkyoku Sachiari, and a girl, Nekoneko Nyan Nyan Nyan. He explains how they died in the most strange way; Hakkyoku, died of alcohol poisoning and was found seated on a giant stuffed sea turtle. And Nekoneko, murdered near the strange Angelo Rock surrounded by stuffed dogs and cats, and who had a massive amount of dumplings shoved down her throat. Jorge realizes that both of these murders were references from the folklore and tales of Urashima Taro and Momotaro, just like Tsukumojuku. Jorge then suspects that the killer will be after him too because he is a detective.

Jorge's realization that the locations of the murders create the same shape of the Bermuda TriangleW

Rohan brings Jorge to the scene, on the way, he shows him his work room which was dark and gloomy and had no windows. Later, Rohan explains that the police had taken away Tsukumojuku's body and the axe with them. But they had left the bear that he was on because it had been too big. Rohan then shows Jorge copies of the scene's photos and data that he had asked them to leave. Jorge asks if Rohan also had photos of the other detectives' murders. Rohan agrees to show him, then asks why the killer would pose them in such a strange way. Jorge explains that the killer had used polar bears as an inspiration for the whole murder because there are no bears in Morioh. Rohan later talks about the girl who lives in his house, Reimi Sugimoto. He explains that she does not know about anything except for her own name. Because of her constant amnesia, Rohan is unable to look through her past with his Heaven's Door. He decides to let Reimi watch over the house until her memories return. Rohan then shows Jorge the locations of each detectives murder on Jorge's map. Jorge discovers that the locations make a triangle shape similar to the Bermuda TriangleW, which reminds him that Tsukumojuku had traveled through time because of this triangle. Rohan comments that Jorge's map looked scrambled. Jorge explains that it was the map Tsukumojuku drew before he was murdered.

Jorge asks Rohan out of nowhere if he had some sort of special power. Rohan, ignoring his question, tells Jorge that Tsukumojuku was technically found in a locked room. Knowing that defies the laws of physics, Jorge repeats his question if Rohan had special powers. Rohan explains that these 'special powers' are called Stands. He explains that Stands have a physical form, they may look like a person, an animal, an insect, a boat or any other item. He explains the concept of how Stand Users are drawn towards one another. After explaining, Rohan talks about the bear again and tells Jorge how he couldn't see the bear and Tsukumojuku on it at all even though it was supposed to be in plain sight; because he has a good view of the sun room because of its windows made of glass. Rohan then warns Jorge to be very cautious about the killer because he does not have a Stand to defend himself. As they are discussing, Jorge attempts to ask Rohan about someone who he couldn't remember. Jorge tries to remember who he was asking about but couldn't finish his sentence. He asks Rohan if he had done something to him. Rohan nods and states that if he says the name, he will explode. Jorge remembers the threat that was given to him if he came to Morioh, thinking Rohan might be making the same threat. He suspects that Rohan might be using hypnotism to control him. He asks Rohan how he knows the name he was trying to say. Rohan responds by saying he only knows the name, not the face. Jorge asks him to say the name, Rohan refuses because Jorge would explode.

Suddenly, the doorbell rings, Rohan asks Jorge to tell the people outside to leave and runs out of the room, asking Reimi to come with him. Jorge thinks that they are fans, Rohan explains that they bring trouble every time they visit. He leaves for the north sun room and asks Reimi to come with him. Jorge opens the door and is greeted by three boys wearing school uniforms, looking about his age. The shortest one greets Jorge, telling him that they came by because they had heard about a murder and that Jorge may have done something to Rohan because no one had seen him for 2 weeks. Jorge introduces himself to the three and explains that he is a detective. The young boy explains that he is a friend of Rohan. Jorge says that Rohan gave him permission to be in his house. One of the thugs on the right yells at Jorge, when suddenly something grabs Jorge by the throat, the thug asks him if he can see their Stands. Jorge immediately notices that it was a humanoid Stand. After trying to feel the palm of its hand, the thug realizes that Jorge isn't a Stand User.

He slams him up against the wall of the house and begins to interrogate Jorge about Rohan. Jorge says that Rohan is in the house, as he is moments away from being passed out. Rohan appears from behind with Reimi. The thug on the right suspects Jorge to be pretending to be a detective, and is actually Yoshikage Kira. The invisible hand releases Jorge and had suddenly vanished, along with the user. His name is revealed to be Fukashigi, as his twin brother runs over to look for him. The brother warns Koji and Reimi to get back, and proceeds to threaten to attack Jorge. Jorge quickly says that he would find Fukashigi. As Jorge tries to find out why Fukashigi, he remembers what Rohan had told him: Speaking his name means death. You explode. Your entire body is the bomb. He learns that Reimi had prevented Fukashigi from exploding by placing him under the Arrow Cross House.

Jorge finally meets Reimi, and they introduce each other

Jorge asks Rohan if he could use his Stand to let him have the ability to see Stands. He looks at Koji and the twin brother of Fukashigi, who's name is Muryotaisu, and sees their Stands. Around Muryotaisu were three dolphins floating around him, which are named Grand Blue. Koji explains that his Stand is named Blue Thunder, which is a propeller that sticks out of his head and allows him to fly. He also explains that Fukashigi's Stand is named NYPD Blue, a good New York cop with a foul mouth. Jorge is finally able to see Reimi, and introduces himself again to her. Everyone moves back inside to test an experiment to prove Jorge's theory. He asks Reimi to move the building and learns that each of the arrows of the house could spin. Which explains why Rohan wasn't able to notice the murder of Tsukumojuku. This surprises Reimi, and she confirms his deduction and claims that he is right. Jorge is then told about the Stand of the killer, which was named Killer Queen, and all three of its abilities. Jorge asks Sugimoto what powers she had when she was shaped like the Cube House. She claims that she does not remember.

A sudden earthquake strikes Morioh, turning it into a floating island in the sea of Japan

Suddenly, the house begins to move. Jorge asks why Sugimoto was moving it, and learns that the house was actually moving back and forth. Koji flies up into the air and tells everyone that the borders of Morioh had been split open and is now floating above the sea of Japan. Ignoring what is happening, Rohan asks Jorge what kind of person he was, confusing him. Rohan claims that he used Heaven's Door to read all of his adventures which were listed as "Fake", and his true story. Which says that he was Born in 1889 in the Canary Islands off the coast of Spain, became a pilot to fight in World War II, and was killed by an Air Force General. Rohan explains that he was actually born 123 years ago, and died 92 years ago and asks how old he really is.
