Chapter 6 The Island (第六章・島 Dairokushō shima) is the sixth chapter of the light novel JORGE JOESTAR. It brings the perspective back to Joji Joestar.
Summary[]
Joji explains how chaos has broken out between Morioh. All available electricity and technology had been cut off except for their cell phones. The floating island of Morioh had been flying at an extreme speed down south. There were planes flying towards Morioh. He looks up to see when suddenly the lead F-22 plane had exploded. Which reveals that Morioh has an invisible barrier around it. Rohan wonders if the dome was a Stand ability. Rohan tries to name the phenomenon "Beyond", but Jorge claims that the name had already been taken. Behind them, Muryotaisu begins to yell; the fighter planes were attempting to fire at them. Again, the missiles exploded in mid-air due to the invisible barrier. Jorge believes that they were trying to confirm the barriers existence. Muryotaisu claims that the dome is protecting, a suspicious Rohan believes that it isn't entirely safe. He points down and shows that a chunk of the bay was moved with the town.

Jorge asks Rohan if he can draw a map of Morioh. Rohan pulls out his notepad and pen and swiftly illustrates a map. Rohan promises that the map is completely accurate and hands it to Jorge. Jorge takes the map and has Hirose fly around the island to confirm the dome and the bay above it. Jorge feels as if he's seen the image before but couldn't remember. He creates a theory; because the dome was shaped like a half-circle, it was supposedly centered by something. Rohan states that they need to go to the center to find whoever is moving Morioh. Suddenly, Fukashigi appears behind them, claiming that their school is at that location. Jorge realizes that Fukashigi wasn't buried underground anymore, Muryotaisu cries with relief. Behind Fukashigi was Reimi, and a deformed looking Rohan. Jorge notices that there are two Rohans, the other had disappeared. Reimi explains that Kira Yoshikage had canceled his Bites The Dust effect. They are now finally able to say his name out loud. Reimi states that Kira is preparing to fight them all head on. Rohan believes that Kira is the one moving the island because of such timing. Reimi pulls out a cellphone with a group of detectives holding a conference. She managed to find a live stream of it. A detective named Bariya Choumaru begins by introducing himself and naming all the detectives in the room. Bariya believes that more detectives will join soon to solve the murders of Hakkyoku Sachiari, Nekoneko Nyan Nyan Nyan, and Kato Tsukumojuku because all three were known detectives who were all murdered in just a single day. Bariya declares that the case will be solved. He states that Morioh is now flying towards the ocean with the killer trapped on it. Bariya then sends a message to Yoshikage, claiming that he didn't kill the three detectives. Instead, the real killer killed them to frame him. He then asks Kira if he can be of any assistance towards this case to solve it.
Jorge is surprised about how all of the detectives know his name. He believes that they are also aware of the existence of Stands. Jorge then questions how Koji and the Nijimura's know Kira's name. They explain that a friend of theirs, Shigetaka Yangu, had a Stand named Stray Dog. Which one day brought a severed hand to them. Using the nail polish on the hand, they managed to find where it was sold and began to search for Kira. As they almost caught him, Kira managed to escape, using a woman named Aya Tsuji's Stand Face Off to switch his appearance and fingerprints with a random person. After he escaped, he killed Shigechi as a warning for chasing him. Fukashigi states that they are doing this for Shigechi and Aya, when suddenly, the island begins to change its course. It makes the Arrow Cross House spin towards the left. Everyone begins to lose their balance and slide across the floor. Koji and Muryotaisu fly up into the air with their Stands. Fukashigi uses NYPD Blue and lands on top of it. Koji explains that a soldier had a message for their town leader. Stating that if nothing changes, the American army will flip the island. He brings out his phone and shows them all a picture of the United States' former president, Funny Valentine. At least five people had been elected president after Valentine, but he still looks young and healthy. The current president is his grandson, The Funniest Valentine, the son of Funnier Valentine; an astronaut. They all look up and see Funny Valentine struggling to get back into the helicopter. He uses his Stand and zig-zags his way into the helicopter.

As it flies away, a loudspeaker states that there will be an emergency meeting at the Budogaoka gym at 6 PM for all the citizens of Morioh. They believe that Kira is located there; they decide to leave and go find him. Joji suggests that he should stay, Rohan says that he is the detective and that he should go. Muryotaisu motivates him and calls out his Stand's dolphins: Jacques, Enzo, Johana, and Sky Diving. They ride the dolphins and travel to the Jozenji temple, which had already burned to the ground. They find drawings of moths and butterfly-like sketches. Rohan questions why the people had drawn so many, and claims that they had drawn them as they were burning in the fire. Jorge claims that the people in the temple had probably went through some sort of mass hysteria. Muryotaisu interrupts their discussion, stating that they need to get to the gym. They manage to get to the gym, only to see over a thousand people throwing gasoline all over each other. Constantly muttering, "Scared, scared, scared". Rohan attempts to use Heaven's Door on them all, only to find that their books are filled with the word "scared". Fukashigi and his Stand begin to break the gym's windows, because it was taking too much time, Koji uses Blue Thunder and flies to the top of the gym. He uses Blue Thunder to demolish the wall of the gym. This breaks the civilians' trance, and Koji orders them to exit the gym safely. They begin searching for anyone who might be Yoshikage Kira, when the mayor of the town approaches them and thanks them. Joji asks them to wash the gasoline off of their bodies, then they call the fire department. As they leave, the people gather and head towards the harbor. Joji suddenly runs out of the gym and asks Hirose and the twins to go run and check the Arrow Cross House. As they fly back, they see it rocking side to side.

They find Reimi and ask where the people had went, she says that she had stuck them under the House to keep them safe. Joji heads inside the house and finds a door under Rohan's desk. He moves the desk and opens it, discovering that it is a door to the Cube House. Of course, the law of physics don't apply to Stands. Joji calls Muryotaisu's dolphins and let them carry him around the room. Jorge studies the dimensions of the room and looks around the doors and mirrors. He learns that the doors on the floor always connect to the ceiling. Fukashigi suddenly enters the room and asks him to come out and see something. As he leaves the house, he looks up to see another island in the sky flying towards Morioh. The island turns out to be the headquarters of the Mafia group called Passione.
