Dio gets scared while checking the saint body, realizing that someone was behind him, something he thought would be impossible. The person behind him was none other than Lucy Steel, the one that gave birth to the saint corpse. She was alone. Only she and Dio were in the vault.

Lucy says that she only came across the cotinent for her own happiness. She was using her cuteness to try to catch Dio off guard, playing like she never really cared about Steel or Johnny. Diego figures that Steven already knows about the corpse and the shelter, which means he has to kill him later. For Lucy, he goes back and forth between knowing she was planning something.

Lucy then states that she brought him a present, but it's not her body. At this point, it's shown that Lucy carries something in secret: the Head of Diego Brando, the one with the Stand Scary Monsters. As Funny Valentine explained in previous chapters, if two people or objects of different universes meet in the same universe both will be destroyed by the simple fact of both being close to each other. Apparently, Lucy heard all about it while the president was fighting in the Train.

Dio realizes that if he does not escape he would die irremediable. For that reason, he uses THE WORLD and stops the time, looking for a chance to leave that place even in his wounded state. While he was about to escape, but stops for a moment. Diego thinks why he was so worried about it. After all, he was able to defeat Johnny and Tusk ACT 4 and Lucy was just a girl. Killing her would be very easy for him. In that moment, he was getting ready to attack her but time resumes to normal and before he realizes the head has already touched him. Diego's head then fuses his with alternate self, causing Dio's head to explode, killing him.

Meanwhile, Johnny was almost at his end but suddenly Mr. Steel appears riding a horse. Steel knew about Johnny's situation and before reaching that point, he and Lucy came up with a plan to stop Dio and save Johnny. Therefore, using the horse that Mr. Steel was mounted, Johnny was able to Call Tusk ACT 4 to shoot himself reversing the effect of his own power.

Finally, the results of SBR race are revealed:

The race was criticized as inhumane as it had countless deaths, but also raised seven trillion yen economic effect but in the end it helped in many ways. That race ended after four long months. After everything that happened the bodies were guarded in the vault (both bodies of the saint and Dio). In the end the heroes were able to keep the body of the saint safe.

The excited crowd waited patiently for the President's speech, but he never showed up. The mayor of New York City gave a speech in his place, and Valentine's approval rating shot up to 91%. After these events, Johhny Joestar boards a ship, together with him is his teacher, rival and best friend, the one who helped him to walk again, which gave meaning to his life, the man named Julius Caesar "Gyro" Zeppeli and with them the horse Valkyrie, both returning to their country, their home.
