Kailua-Kona - Flight Waiting Time, Part 2 (カイルア・コナ - フライト待ち時間 その② Kairua Kona - Furaito Machijikan Sono 2) originally titled THE Hustle, Part 1 (THE ハッスル その1 Za Hassuru Sono 1) is the tenth chapter of The JOJOLands and the nine hundred and sixty-seventh chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga.
Summary[]
Jodio has been hurt by a mysterious assailant. Paco is the next to be attacked, but he uses his Stand, THE Hustle, to pick up a tray and block the knife. Paco responds by punching the man and striking him with a chair. As the man flies back. Paco begins to wonder if it's a stand this guy is using. It looks like dirt particles, but upon examination, Paco discovers that it is real sand due to texture, and that it is comprised of a plethora of different colors. He surmises that the only path out of this is violence, and considering that they're not willing to turn over the Lava Rock, he puts up his fists to continue the fight. He manages to disarm the man and grab him by the throat, threatening to strangle him. Paco realizes that the man's throat feels like sand as well. It's then that the sand seems to amass in the air in such a way as to look like it fused with the clouds in the sky, even though it's mere inches from Paco's face. Paco knocked the guy away and comments that this sand seems to have the ability to mess with his depth perception. Paco begs Jodio to get up and help him fight, saying that this guy's bad news. Paco says he knows that the guy is still there, but has seemingly turned invisible. Paco questions if this guy is even human.
Dragona and Usagi appear, having been drinking the champagne that they stole from Rohan's house, celebrating their escape from the luxury watch store. Usagi says that the Lava Rock has the ability to move things worth money through people's feelings, and that the luxury watch, even though they didn't leave with it, would return to them through means unrelated to them, and untraceable. Paco then tells them to be quiet as they're under attack. Jodio says it's the mafia, but Paco questions it due to the unprofessional nature of the attack. Paco can't explain the enemy's powers due to how freaky they are, and questions whether they can even get on the plane or not. At that moment, a couple comes out of the luxury watch shop wearing the luxury watch. Dragona begins to grow upset that the watch is getting away, but Usagi comforts Dragona, telling them that the watch is still just making its way to them, it's just doing it in a round about way. Jodio says that they're too exposed here and need to get to the car. Paco agrees, saying that the enclosed space will be a good defense, and that if the assassin does come for them, they'll be able to do him in there. All the while, Dragona can't take their eyes from the luxury watch, complaining that it's being abused by those people who just bought it. Suddenly, some birds come and take the luxury watch and fly over to Dragona. Jodio warns Dragona not to take the watch because something's not right. Dragona reaches up for it, as Jodio shouts that the original owner never took the watch off. The bird with the watch suddenly transforms into the mysterious assassin and stabs Dragona in the throat before stealing the Lava Rock. The Assassin attempts to flee, but Jodio summons November Rain to catch the assailant, and manages to catch his leg. All the while, Dragona commands Smooth Operators to move the wound to save their life.
