Do you think Joseph is still alive in Part V? TriNiSette 22:20, April 6, 2012 (UTC)

Joseph in part V

I think he probably was alive. He was old already in part IV but a strong man like him could live longer. I based my theory in the events of part 2. SpeedWagon was 75 in part II and was lively enough to survive Straigths and died several years later at the age of 89. In part 2, the Hamon users aged slowly (like Lisa Lisa for example). 01:35, April 8, 2012 (UTC)

I'm not sure though, because even if healthier people tend to live longer, there still exist exceptions, even for Hamon users. Joseph found no reason in his life to continue practicing the Hamon after the events of Battle Tendency (I think he stated at one point that it was a long time since he was able to use the Hamon), which was likely why he aged considerably in Parts III and IV, not to mention he was nowhere near physically fit enough to match Straights. And though his picture shows up in Part V when Koichi mentions the Joestar bloodline in Giorno (whereas Jonathan's didn't), considering it was told from Koichi's perspective, it might not match up to their appearances at that moment, but rather to their appearances at some point during the two-year timeskip. Is it still worth putting though? TriNiSette 05:42, April 8, 2012 (UTC)
