I believe the name of the stone is actually a direct reference to the album "Aja" by Steely Dan. The reason is because the kana that make up the stone's name in the manga are "E-I-JYA", whereas the 'official' way to spell Asia in Japanese would be "A-JI-A".24.27.111.169 07:00, November 11, 2012 (UTC)

Very sound observation! I don't know where to access the raws for the corresponding Battle Tendency chapters, so I've missed over that for a while. SOUL'D OUT's song Magenta Magenta, however, caused me to regard the translation with curiosity, because "E-I-JYA" was also pronounced repeatedly in that song, which featured a red stone as its main plot device and apparently contained numerous other references to JJBA. Glad to see someone finally confirmed it, so it will be corrected accordingly. Again, thank you! 216.165.95.76 11:05, November 11, 2012 (UTC)
