I believe the name of the stone is actually a direct reference to the album "Aja" by Steely Dan. Very sound observation! I don't know where to access the raws for the corresponding Battle Tendency chapters, so I've missed over that for a while. SOUL'D OUT's song Magenta Magenta, however, caused me to regard the translation with curiosity, because "E-I-JYA" was also pronounced repeatedly in that song, which featured a red stone as its main plot device and apparently contained numerous other references to JJBA.
