There's Six of Us! (６人いる！ Rokunin Iru!) is the 7th Episode of Stone Ocean and the 159th episode of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure anime. The episode covers the events of Chapters 620 through 623 of the original manga.
Summary[]
After the defeat of Thunder McQueen, Emporio returns to Jolyne in the punishment ward where he recounts to her the events. He tells her that Ermes now understands about Stands and proceeds to tell her that once the Stand DISC was returned to McQueen, that he revived. Emporio speculates that it would be possible to revive Jotaro as well if they manage to get his Stand DISC back as well. Emporio then gives Jolyne McQueen's DISCs which she begins to examine in hopes of finding out more about Whitesnake.
Elsewhere, two prisoners are attempting to close a storehouse door before being killed by a mysterious creature.
Not long after, female prisoners are gathered together in hopes of forming a search party for the missing prisoners. Jolyne states that perhaps they were killed by a female crocodile in reference to Loccobarocco's croc puppet named. Ermes also joins after witnessing Jolyne go. Gwess seems less than enthusiastic about it, asking Jolyne why she's wasting her time. Jolyne only replies that she knows Gwess will not be with her. As the search begins, they attach bracelets to the wrists of each of the prisoners. The Guard in charge informs them not to take the bracelet off, hit it, or move more than 50 meters from him, else wise the bracelet will explode. He then gets on a tractor and begins to drive off, prompting the prisoners to run in an effort to keep up with him and stay within 50 meters of him.
Jolyne is searching in a shed when she is confronted by Ermes who asks her about the DISC and Whitesnake. Jolyne asks her if she read the DISC, and Ermes tells her that she did and it only made her feel terrible. Jolyne explains that the goal of Whitesnake was detailed in one of McQueen's memories, and that was to take both memory and Stands from others, and that it is for this reason that she joined the search party. She feels that Jotaro's Stand and memory DISCs may be hidden in the same place as the others.
Finding a warehouse that interests them, they begin to make their way toward it when a Guard suddenly tells them to stop dawdling. When they ignore him, he strikes Ermes' bracelet and causes her to fall, hoping that she will fall into the crocodile poo on the ground. However, Jolyne catches her with the help of Stone Free, and the impact splatters the croc poo on the guard instead.
Jolyne and Ermes overhear a shaved-headed and a black-headed prisoner talking about the contents of the warehouse, and how it only had bags of flour and a tractor. Remembering what she saw from the memories of McQueen, Jolyne knows that it must be the warehouse. The guard tells them that they need to begin searching in the waters, but Jolyne begins to search the tires instead. Ermes says that something is wrong, and she mentions the Loccobarocco had called five prisoners, but there were six in the party. One of the prisoners, Atroe, also wonders if there were always six prisoners in the group. Suddenly, everyone's bracelets begin beeping. They notice that the guard is gone, and they begin to search for him until Atroe's bracelet beeps faster, prompting an explosion which kills her.
They find the guard and begin to run toward him. Ermes begins to suspect the shaved-headed prisoner, but Jolyne doesn't think it is him. Suddenly, Ermes hears a strange sound coming from a bucket and informs Jolyne to be wary of water. As Jolyne begins to reevaluate the situation, Ermes finds herself dragged by the face into the marsh by the bucket. Inside the bucket, she witnesses multiplying plankton. She summons her Stand, Kiss, to attack the creature. Jolyne unravels her body to create string with which she can make it across the surface of the marsh to rescue Ermes. She tackles the strange being made of plankton and manages to avoid a gut shot due to her unraveling. She throws the creature away and tells Ermes to grab onto the string so they can escape, but the creature quickly catches up to them. The creature grabs onto Ermes' leg, but she removes a sticker she had placed on the being earlier, which causes it's arm to violently fuse back into one, destroying it. The begin to wonder what kind of creature it is as normally a Stand gets weaker the farther away from the user it is. They flee inland as the strange Stand escapes into the water. They find the prisoners attempting to use the dead guard's intercom to call for help. Ermes states that she knows that one of the prisoners is responsible. Jolyne then states that to defeat the Stand, they will need to defeat the user...
