  • It seems like he was, cause the designs of the arrows are really similar, and its almost the exact same, though its never fully stated that he was. They are very similar but im not entirely sure they're the same, as this could mean stands could be birthed from the requiem arrow, but this has never been confirmed, and does this mean WS/CM/MIH are Requiem st

    • Short answer is that it definitely seems to be the requiem arrow, and in the recent anime depiction only one of the arrows has a design anything like that. Pucci's Stands aren't requiem Stands literally speaking, because they don't have requiem in their names.

Everything else is my opinion, but I'd say that stabbing yourself with an arrow is different from Stabbing your Stand with an arrow, so the first state of a Stand is never requiem because requiem itself feels like a Stand evolving, along the lines of Bites the Dust, so for Whitesnake to be requiem you'd have to stab it again.

Requiem is described as 'power over souls' though, and that's kind of what Whitesnake has.

    • its pretty interesting how it works honestly, since what happens if you pierce yourself with a regular arrow AFTER?, can you pierce yourself with a requiem arrow mutliple times?, many ideas and such about this

    • Requiems come from stabbing a stand with the arrow

Stabbing the USER results in a very powerful stand (I.e Whitesnake/Weather Report) (at least I think Domenico was stabbed by the Req)

Ok, OK, calm down. No need for nostalgia critic levels of swearing. I believe that, with everything that has been shown with the arrows and with a little help from various JoJo youtubers, it seems that the requiem arrow itself awakens the stands of all blood related relatives in a family, and when the arrow is used on your stand, it amplifies and powers up the stand where it could be able to manipulate the souls of people, though the requiem arrow can also mainipulate souls of people in some way as well (example being that Dio could stop time and the 'souls' of people in time, Diavolo could skip sections of time while the 'souls' of people aren't aware of it, Pucci can take a part of the 'soul' of a person through his DISCS (and plenty of more BS abilities that don't make sense), Giorno could (SPOILERS) have Gold Experience Requiem set the souls of someone back to the point of zero in any situation or event, and lastly (this is the greatest example of the requiem arrow's soul properties) with Chariot Requiem being able to swap the 'souls' of people with other people and beings from another dimension). The regular arrow, while powerful, is the incomplete arrow, which can only grant stand abilities to those who are worthy, and anyone else who is not worthy will die. While the regular arrow can also grant new abilities if a person is pierced again, the arrow can not bring forth completely evolved stands like GER or Chariot Requiem. That is why killer queen didn't look any different than he did before, since it was an ability upgrade and not a complete and total transformation like the above mentioned stands. Now for the arrow that Pucci was pierced with, it seems to be implied that this was the requiem arrow, as it seems that it was in Dio's possession when it was used and Dio IS implied to have pierced himself with that arrow, as Jotaro and Holly (and later Josuke and Giorno) also gained stands because of it. Jolyne did not gain a stand as she wasn't born yet, and while she did get sick when she was young, it is implied that she did not gain a stand until she was pierced with the arrow piece that her mother had given her, and since she had already been sick previously, gained Stone Free without issue. Another point to make about the arrow is that it seems that the arrow has much more damage done when someone is purposely struck with the arrow than cut with it, as (SPOILERS) we see with Giorno, he gets a huge wound from the arrow like Pucci, so it seems that since Pucci also got such a large wound with that arrow, it seems that it would most likely be the requiem arrow. The largest and most important reason as to why that was the requiem arrow is that Wes (or Weather) also gained a stand, and as I said before, all blood relatives will gain a stand because of the requiem arrows power, and will either live and have a stand or suffer the illness of the arrow and die. Though the illness could only be caused by those who are weak willed like Holly or young Josuke or Giorno. One last piece to note is that usually, requiem stands are much more powerful than regular arrow pierced stands and therefore Pucci must have been pierced by the requiem stand arrow.

If anyone is confused, please let me know. I hope this helps clear some things up.

Also, the guy who started this discussion stole my profile picture! Whitesnake must have used his memory DISC to steal it!

    • No, but I just couldn't resist making a joke about it. You have my respect.
