  • It seems for some reason Araki has not revealed who the main antagonist yet so here are the guesses

Jobin,Kaato,DIO,and someone new female big bad who would appear late in the story.

    • I think it's Kato. I don't actually think it's going to be like Part 4 where a new villain largely unrelated just shows up to be the main antagonist, or even some behind the scenes mastermind with greater ambitions only somewhat related to the drug trade, because unlike Part 4, Part 8 is one long continuous story about the Rock Humans, Josuke's past and the Higashikata connection. Part 4 is mainly unrelated goings-on-about-town, even after Kira is introduced. I don't think the story is going to take a wildly drastic turn, as much as I would like it to to shake things up a little. The one thing Part 8 really inherits from Part 4 is how low-stakes the fight is, so in the end I think it's mainly going to be all about the family feud between Kato and Jobin versus Norisuke and the rest.

    • My money was on Jobin for a while but Kaato seems more likely. The only thing she has going against her is her Stand, which seems rather mundane from what little has been shown of it (which could actually be a neat twist for a final antagonist, but I can't imagine Araki going for something so anticlimactic).

No matter who it is, though, I'm sure the main antagonist has already shown up.

    • Why would you think it is DIO he is dead and his counterparts are dead. Personally I think the main antagonist will be a character that is either a background character or a false ally.

    • What about the man who appeared in Josuke's mind at the beginning of the manga? He never spoke about it again. Araki can't have drawn that character for no reason. He didn't even appear in the Kira and Josefumi's flashback.

    • He might play a role in the manga later but I can't say for certain he will be the main antagonist.

I am 75% sure that that was an early design for Jobin. Pretty much all of the Higashikatas, save for the actual females, got redesigned between their first appearance and then afterward. Even Gappy and S&W have changed a fair amount from the intial chapters.

    • I think Jobim. He gonna make a fusion with Dolomite and the fusion gonna be the guy of the flashforward. If you look to the flashback you can se Josuke( isn't Kira or Josefumi) and we read all the story after Josuke born, so is not a flashback, but a flashforward (vision of the future). Maybe alternative Bite the Dust.

    • If it isn't Jobin or Kaato, people are gonna freak.

        Loading editor
    • I think neither jobin or kaato will be the antagonist

      why?

well.... their abilties dont feel powerful enough to be an antagonist

Araki's probably forgotten about him by now.

actully, (I think this is what ive heard) originally, Josuke was orginally supposed to be sent back in time somehow (most likely via BTD somehow) and be that duded who saved young josuke

also, the SBR and PB universes are completly seperate, so its unlikely orginal josuke would have appeared.

    • Could be someone with an ability to control time and space based on the past 5 villains of the series.

DIO can stop time Kira can rewind time Diavolo erases time Pucci speeds up time and resets the universe and valentine can switch dimensions.

Now with this in mind id probably come up with a hypothesis to the next big bads powers

      Dio-Pause Button

      Kira-Rewind Button

      Diavolo-Next Button

      Pucci- Fast Forward

      Valentine-Menu Button

So i suppose whoever the next big bad is might have one of these powers which i related to a button in the dvd player

Option A:Eject Disc- Perhaps the power to destroy a universe or erase it from existance however that would be too cliche for Jojo

      or

Option B:Previous Button - Power to travel back in time

        Loading editor
    • Like... Bites the Dust? God, that clearly isn't what the next villian is going to be when it's already been done. I've already got my ideas.

        Loading editor
    • I thought Bites the dust was the rewind button?

Anyway I'd like to know your ideas because the anticipation is killing me.

        Loading editor
    • The rewind button would be Mandom

        Loading editor
    • The entire idea of a DVD player being the inspiration for villian powers is kind of flawed. What is Valentine then? The menu button? That's a huge stretch, and limiting yourself to buttons on a DVD player leaves out other options.

I personally thought the power would be to slow down time. As in, make people move progressively slower and slower, while not affecting the user.

        Loading editor
    • That's actually a pretty good idea

But isn't there also a button that slows down the video on the dvd player?

        Loading editor
    • Yeah, but last time I checked switching timelines is not like a menu button. Which is what you said. Another thing to note is that players in general have time buttons. As well as that, Araki probably doesn't think of DVD players when making a time stand. He just comes up with different flows of time.

    • Good point. But either way its been almost 8 years and still no main villain being shown or at least teased. I just hope he'd prove to be a major threat

    • After the last chapter we can pretty much conclude the main antagonist of JoJolion is the head Doctor (unless there is someone above him), however we have no idea who he/she is or what stand abillity they have.

Or, what about Option C: Change Disc? Like in Multi-Disc Player.

Well Valentine already has that kind of power except only he can travel between universes

    • That's right but I'm talking about moving people/things from one setting to other e.g. from near future to medieval. That's more like Debug Mode, not Time Travel or something.

        Loading editor
    • That's actually pretty nice.though i dont really see it having cataclysmic effects on the environment just like the other villains before.

        Loading editor
    • That really has nothing to do with time at that point. You're just changing the setting, which is also a really unexplained and baseless ability. This is the issue with basing abilities off of a DVD player. You end up limiting yourself to not a whole lot, and you have to pull straws just to come up with ideas.

    • i just hope its a female character bc we are yet to have had a woman main antagonist

    • I personally like Zodazzle idea for a stand that can slow down time but if the user could slow themself down I think that would be useful in someway. Like if they were bleeding to death they could slow down the blood or if they were falling down a building. The only problem is if they can slow down multiple people or they cant because if they cant they can be easily defeated by two or more people.

    • it would be cool if josuke was thrown by the villain power to the PB universe and he started the whole joestar family bloodline by being idk maybe grandfather of George? And of course he would lost all his memories. Again.

    • Next you'll be telling us Josuke from JJL is the one who saved Josuke from DU in snowstorm.

    • what if the main villain's stand is a reverse Mandom (i.e. instead of rewinding time, it resets an object or person back in time, returning them to their previous position)

        Loading editor
    • GER? No, but it's kinda similar. Both would be resetting things to a previous state. Also, Crazy Diamond.

      POSITION, not STATE

    • S.Cond bomb that sounds op, I imagine that if the villain punched someone back and then reset their position they could just do that until they died

    • After reading again the last chapter, I thought that, maybe, Tsurugi wi be the main antagonist. To prove my point,

      - we don't know who is the Rock Humans' boss - all Higashikatas in JoJolion got "King" in their Stands name => Diavolo and King Crimson - SBR was a rewrite of Phantom Blood and Stardust Crusaders. JoJolion can be a rewrite of Battle Tendency (Pillar Men/Rock Humans) and Diamond Is Umbreakable (Morioh...) - the adaptation of Vento Aureo was made while JoJolion was at its end. Maybe Araki tries to give us some clues - from chapter 933, we know that Tsurugi seems to suffer of a mental disorder - thanks to Diavolo and Doppio, we know that people suffering of a multiple personnalities disorder can change their morphology according to the one that control the body

Or maybe it will be yasuho's ex boyfriend
