Narancia in JORGE JOESTAR Chapter 10: The H.G. Wells

SPOILER WARNING: Part JORGE JOESTAR Spoiler details may follow.

U-Boat ( ユー ) ボート, Yū Bōto) also known as Das Boot (ダス ブート Dasu būto) is a Stand featured in the light novel JORGE JOESTAR. It is used by many users like Narancia Ghirga from the 37th universe, Joji Joestar (temporarily from DISC), and Kars, with U-Boat Ultimate.

Appearance[]

U-Boat appears as a group of submarines that can move freely in other living things and has access to weapons. If the fleet fuses and combines, it will become a life-size submarine that is over a hundred meters long.

Abilities[]

Surface Submersion[]

U-Boat is able to travel through living things' bodies, through their muscle tissue or any other body fluids like their bones and blood. It can travel through their body and can transfer to another host if body fluids such as blood lands on another person. It can even travel into its own user to protect them from attacks. The Stand is also able to fly around in the air. [1]

Projectile Artillery[]

U-Boat has military ranged weapons such as missiles, torpedoes, and rockets. If a regular rocket or missile were shot into space, it would burn up like a meteorite. Although U-Boat projectiles can travel through space without its speed being changed, meaning it defies physics and gravity.

Fleet Fusion[]

U-Boat is capable of regrouping its fleet, and merging into each other; making it larger. If the whole fleet is combined, it will create a large submarine, along with its artillery increasing its size. The boat even has scuba gear, like periscope headsets, similar to its original counterpart, Aerosmith. It also has a radio for communication, and can track people inside the boat.

Trivia[]

  • U-Boat is based off of a German war film, Das Boot, but was renamed to U-Boat by Japan.
  • This Stand is shared by 3 different users, similar to Beyond after its former user, Tsukumojuku, had been killed. It had been split between Jorge Joestar (Japanese), George Joestar II, and Dio Brando.
  • The U-Boat has an identical real-world counterpart, the German U-Boat. The German U-Boat was a type of submarine used by the Germans during both World Wars.
