"My eyes have been redirected for too long of a time. I was a hero, then a criminal, once a villain, and someone again. I was considered an enemy to the world’s problems, yet there appears a string that will strum a tune of “fire”..." - Detective Luke

Detective Geoff Luke; Age: 31, Height: 5'11", Weight: 144 lbs, Blood: O+, Instinct: Concerto, Overdrive: Philharmonic Sonata

Title: The Accomplice

Other Information: Arcana: XVI The Tower, Family: Unknown, Talents: Solving murders and other crimes, working in secret, performing violin pieces, Habits: Being suspicious of others and creating by destroying, Hobbies: Escaping the Wheel of Fate, acting like a dick to others, and attempting to recollect, Favorite Food: Fried tofu, mixed with any other food for more flavoring and taste. As he is able to acquire money from others (friend included), he prefers to spend most of his savings for his upcoming dishes, which often annoys his friends as most of them prefer to try something different or just dislike tofu in general, yet he forces them to do so as he doesn’t like seeing his food wasted.

Appearance: Like other incarnations of Rook, Luke has brown hair, albeit disheveled and untidy, steel gray eyes that turn red when he’s furious, and has an unsightly look on his face, including a stubble. However, unlike them, his outfit barely changes and isn’t very police-oriented, which consists of a long brown jacket with red and brown patterns, black pads, and brass buttons, a simple white shirt with a military green overcoat consisting of breast pockets and gray straps over it, blue denim pants with white bleach marks, and brown Oxford shoes with tints of red, yellow, and orange akin to flames.

When using RedFire (レッドファイヤー ReddoFaiyā), Luke wields two brown violin bows with yellow hair as weapons as his entire body flashes a light orange while his hair, eyes, ears, nose, and nails briefly turn a deep pulsating red. He also leaves gray smoke that can be slightly seen through and is not very detrimental to most living organisms who breathe it.

Personality: Unlike other incarnations of Rooks, Luke comes off as fierce, stubborn, short-tempered, rude, and caustic to most, if not all, people he interacts with in his story, constantly disrespecting his superiors and acquaintances with his sardonic sense of humor and passive-aggressive behavior to deliberately stay away from the investigation, and performing his actions recklessly behind others’ backs or/and in front of them as of means to spite them and for his own reasons. He also acts aloof, carefree, and seemingly apathetic to his associates in unpleasant situations he sees as “trivial and petty” enough for them to deal with and often refuses to help, and remains unfazed and uncaring of his own safety even when given death threats, promises of consequences, uncooperative behavior, unsettling sights, or being directly threatened with weapons pointed at him. This behavior also annoys his allies, as most of them call him out for being an ungrateful liability (which is actually not said by them, but what Luke thinks what it is) as there might be some incidents that might result in further consequences.

However, the very core of his emotions is way more darker than anyone could naively perceive. In reality, Luke is a mentally disturbed, depressed, paranoid, and self-loathing sociopath (or what he thinks himself to be) who doubts his very own existence due to not only the loss of memories, but the feeling he was being used right in the very beginning and a great fear of suffering endless pain and death. As a result, Luke slowly developed a near-cynical view of the world that can be easily misunderstood as nihilism and misanthropy by people who don’t understand him and pyrophobia, as he sees it as something that will burn away something important to him despite often performing heat-related attacks in battle. This cynicism combined with his fears resulted in Luke’s intense hatred of the wrongdoings of the world he compares to as fecal matter, in which he expresses by destroying and killing any flaws and anomalies kept secret from the general public such as Cauldrons, Hell Portals, Nests of Distortion, and anyone with powers too dangerous for everyone’s safety to rebel against his fate. Additionally, despite what he lets on to his team, he is somewhat caring for them will always step into the fray if they are physically attacked or directly antagonized by people that mean harm to them, and acts as a moral support and defense to his friends if they become upset of anything that involves their loved ones or themselves, and even their pasts. Luke also shows signs of gratefulness even if his actions are vague and subtle, but sometimes lets his mask fall from time to time by participating in activities with his friends and making tofu dishes for dinner. Although somewhat serious, Luke can be somewhat dimwitted due to his loss of memories, such as when he often mistakes words related to homophones, homonyms, homographs with each other, causing mistakes and brain farts that.

Due to newfound friendship with the Supernatural Hunters, Luke feels grateful for them taking under their wing, but has conflicted feelings on his initial views as he doesn’t have any regards of his own existence and believes that he might bring everyone involved with him into an unavoidable fate that will sink him deeper into despair until his end. He also fears of losing his memories, as having to become a victim of it by chance would mean to restart the “wheel of the fate” that he may inevitably trap himself in. Because of his unstable mind, he is unable to perform in conjunction with his RedFire well, resulting in him being reckless and sloppy when fighting and acting overly violent and brutal to the point of maiming (or at worst, killing) enemies and senselessly destroying anything standing in his way, both which highly clouds his judgment and slowly tears his mind apart. In spite of his own living hell and problematic behavior, Luke genuinely tries his hardest to be cooperative and accepting to others, and dislikes any kind of criticism of his personality he superficially puts on, which is implied to be one of the reasons why he is able to fully cooperate with RedFire even through he still blocked by his mental handicaps.

Powers and Abilities: Utilizing the power of RedFire, Luke can transform any thought and memory he acquires and stores into reality, although it is heavily dampened by his amnesia and lack of awareness and self-control, thus making much of his skills and creativity in battle limited to his own mindset and personality, which humorously consists of similar sounding words and wordplay in the form of dangerous weapons.

In fights he deliberately begins out of his own volition or when against enemies, Luke primarily uses two violin bows as weapons that seemingly do little damage to strong enemies besides being an annoyance when attacking and something to compensate for his lack of weapons, but in reality, only lets their guard down by distracting them to initiate random and unpredictable strings that can manifest at any time and can be only activated with a strum of a bow, letting a literal string of attacks to occur by releasing arrows of heat and sealed sound waves in the form of music that have the power to destabilize thought processing, the movement of four types of waves, and the wavelength patterns of the electromagnetic spectrum, thus activating pain receptors and delaying movement of enemies depending on how many strings Luke creates, which is obviously shown and emitted as red flames. Luke can also transform ones of his bows into a string instrument, which makes him less mobile when playing but makes it easier to access his powers. While both the string and bows appear weak and are easy to break, they can be dangerous as they are very hot and sharp through its strings and can defy all physics and laws of reality due to their origins, such as standing on the strings without breaking them, materializing them in mid-air, connecting them to create simple to complex shapes, shifting the matter of objects and organisms by making them phase through the strings or transforming parts of their body into strings, and generating placebo effects and illusionary areas when people are nearby by strumming the strings to make varying sounds based on their and Luke’s perception of them.

Both ironically and not, Luke’s unique power through RedFire is to “reload” the scene through everyone’s point of view, which eliminates every trace and catalyst (including information, interactions, fights, casualties, damage, and evidence) of an event he dislikes while replacing it with something else, even if it is through inexplicable means. The event that was reloaded by Luke cannot be undone, but it could be remembered by Luke and it may potentially happen again at a different place and time despite the rumored assumption that it may not exist at all. The trigger of reloading an event is for Rook to completely rotate his bows on his left hand and right hand clockwise and counter-clockwise respectively without touching them until at the moment they begin to manipulate reality. However, as all events are considered to be inevitable and could happen at any time, they are very indiscriminate on their participants and victims, and at most times, would go after Luke’s head if he is very, very stupid enough to get himself killed. While RedFire’s power is dependent on the user’s imagination, it is not omnipotent as it only relies on the violin strings it infinitely creates and cannot transmute and manipulate matter in any way it is not supposed to do nor create any kinds of energy or matter besides string constructs. This, along with Luke’s instability, makes it harder for him to fight his enemies properly and get beaten in a majority of his fights, but at often times, shines at his darkest moments by causing as much destruction as he could through the composition he has the ability to perform.

However, the full extent of Luke's powers is shown when he releases the lock on his weapons. Not only the “fire” he releases is capable of physical damage, it acts as a shapeshifting avatar manifested through a giant, complicated meteor-like construction beyond dimensions that happens to be the true RedFire. This fire manifested by Luke can shift into various forms, ranging from a chimera to parts of a monstrous Titan, and is very capable of breaking through the skin of a demon and nullifying most of their powers. Additionally, it is capable of destroying Cauldrons, Hell Portals, and Nests of Distortion as when any form of the fire (such as a meteor shower) enters them, they’re actually bringing the power of construction into them, which slowly drains them of their energy while getting crushed and destroyed from the inside by the infinite space of the beyond, thus preventing any kinds of doomed transportation from happening in these entrances for good.
